lol jk. 170 is boss though, wish i could do that. good shit
I rolfmaod at that lol, I'd walk with a 170 100% and be extremely happy; but all things considered on test day things aren't going to be ideal (like you can try to channel what you'd be feeling during a PT but it will be different on test day) so I like to be PTing well above what I'd be happy with you know.

And sir, didn't you go -0 on LG not too long ago?
yeah i get you, that's why i'm not sitting in december anymore.

yeah i go -0 on LG frequently, but went -1 on PT52 LG yesterday. pls dont shame me.
Respect for making the decision to wait a little longer, you'll be a 'TestMaster' when the day comes (horrid pun).

Also lol, I can never shame anyone after my performance in September, I don't think I got any question on viruses right lol
Dude, aren't you scoring the high 170s lol? What did you get in September? Usually you'll score lower than your PT average on your first take due to nerves

I fucking TANKED in September lol, my diagnostic was 164 and it was lower than that lol. I've said it 10000 times but I was sick that day on top of very nervous, pretty much I was mentally checked out by the time they distributed the test.
That sucks, sry to hear. Youll kill it this time. Are you applying this cycle?

171'd PT71 then 161'd PT72 a couple days later (with a couple older PTs in between). WTF. I'm burned out...

Yeah, I think I'll still be good for schollys with a 173+
Same here, applying this cycle. Are we at a big disadvantage in terms of scholarships if we apply later in the cycle? I thought scholarship money was given after Jan

in the immortal words of Nas, "Chill, God, chill chill"

I'm burned a little as well, just relax until Friday/Saturday go do something you like or hang out with the friends that if you're like me you've neglected.
Happens bro. I scored a 165 on the PT following a 175 performance. Burn out is a thing. First of LR I did today I got a -7. I had a WTF moment. I really focused and concentrated on the 2nd section of the same test and got a -2. Left the library because I had a massive migraine, and took some Excedrin. Just did an RC section and got a -1. Felt the mental fatigue and migraine creeping in so threw in the towel tonight. Better off to recognize burn out, and give it the proper due rather than to get down of yourself.

-My 2 cents.

5 years ago the answer would have been yes but now, no not really especially with the analytics showing a december increase in test takers, etc. being released. just have everything ready to go so when scores come out you can apply January 4th or earlier.

I'm hoping with a 173+ I can pull a close to full ride if not full to a T20, I'll see what the T14 has to offer as well but the less debt the better in my world.
I'm in the same boat regarding the 173+ goal and expectations.

Did anyone find LR 1 in PT 76 to be significantly harder than usual??

you're right it's probably a burnout, I knew I had messed up LR1 so kicked it into gear for LR2.

nice to see another $ over prestige; I think I would highly consider a Michigan or northwestern at half sticker, and in the highly unlikely chance of Columbia coming at me with half I'd bite. other than that I'll take my chances at the T20.
If anything I want to work in Southern California, USC and UCLA round out the top 20. I would much rather a take a full scholarship from one of those places than sticker at a CCN. Like you expressed though, half or better at those schools would be enticing. I am just not into the game of rolling the dice with $200,000+ worth of debt.

Hey guys I just did PT A (from Superprep) and I got a 175, BUT I missed 4 on a single game of LG. It was Game 3. WTF! Games are usually a sure bet for me to get a -0/-1. Did anyone else find this game hard? Or was I just having a moment? Any advice?

I hate that game, killed me also. And G4 is also tough so makes for a very tough section. The LR and RCs weren't bad though

Does anyone on here have experience and or recommend seeking the help of a professional in order to put together your application?

Excluding YHS, My GPA is in the 75%tile of most of the T14 and in the 50%tile for few. I am also expecting a Lsat that falls in the 75%tile of all, but may turn out that I fall into the 50%tile for a few.

It'll all depend on what you get on the LSAT. If you do really well, I think it'd be a waste of $ to hire a consultant. But if you're at/below medians for the schools you're really interested in then I'd say it's worth it.

I know someone who got together with a consultant and said that they think it's really only worth it if you're an older applicant, or have serious C&F issues, or something along those lines.

take that for what it's worth i guess

Just did PT 79's games again. Man I feel so dumb, that virus game really isn't hard at all, especially after you draw it out. I guess the same is true for Pt 72's odd game as well.

Alright, finally starting to get back into a study routine, and not a moment too soon. Up at 4:30 this morning for LG, then I'll do some RC tonight. Until test day, it's LG in the morning, alternate LR/RC at night. One full PT each weekend, and a heavy dose of hoping and praying.
