Do you think you'll be joining us in Feb? I hope that doesn't end up being the case and you get an awesome score

Anyways, I've been studying for a long time actually. I've been studying for 6 months now and I was going to take the December test, but I pushed back to Feb when my score stayed in the 160s. I took about a 1 month break and I'm ready to make my 166+ (goal).
Hope everyone's studying is going well!

Welcome

And I'm sitting here with a fresh lighter in my pocket at all times, ready to burn all this lsat material when I'm done.
An LSAT tutor was telling me about post LSAT depression though. Where students after spending months and months trying to conquer this test suddenly feel this void.

All things considered, what numbers would someone need for you to encourage him or her to apply to YLS? (i can look at their medians, past cycle numbers, etc; i'm just asking for your opinion here)

Maybe one day.
It's such a long shot though unless you have awesome numbers and ridiculous softs that I recommend people take the $100 app fee and go buy themselves something nice. It would be a much better use of the money.
I have no chance of getting into YLS but I do have an LSAT fee waiver so why not blanket everywhere?!

NO RAGRETS.

With your numbers (& presumably polished narrative), of course
you should.
A 169/3.7 with 2 year's paralegal experience and an otherwise typical applicant, then saving yourself the money may be the right call.
Everybody thinks they're a special snowflake though, so I don't expect anybody to pay me any mind.
No, you're right. Def an individual thing and I think it can be difficult to decide how unique one's story/experiences are.
