Spent the weekend attempting to review every inch of PT 47 and 48. I blind reveiwed both tests and improved my scores quite a bit going through them untimed. I focused a lot on the Logic Game inferences I screwed up.

Came back today and did PT 49. I totally messed up the bubbling of the first section and got -15 wrong. Assuming I graded as if I bubbled correctly, I still got -5. Next section was LR and I got a -7, an all time worst. Then -4 on RC. Then -3 on the last LR, which I believe I would have done better on but my copy of the Kaplan PT said there were 22 questions in the section and there were 25.

Assuming I bubbled correctly it was a 164, and i've been declining a point on every test since PT46.

Even though I realize its a bit dramatic I'm pretty traumatized by this and feel incompetent. I'm not getting better at the test right now, and I don't know why, and I'm beginning to wonder if I've reached my natural ceiling. I feel like quitting.

Quitting isn't going to do anything. Stop focusing on test-day conditions for a week or so and get back to the fundamentals. Do an untimed PT and truly take as much time as you need. That will reveal where your weaknesses are and boost your confidence.

Well I wouldn't say I'm 100 percent solid on my fundamentals, but I do think I am fairly solid. I've drilled all LR 1-38 but could definitely improve my Logic Games. I'm much better at them now then before, specifically linear and grouping, but certain game types, like pure sequencing, are still new to me and throw me off. For Logic Reasoning, untimed I would say I would average about -1 to -3. And for reading comprehension, untimed I'd probably be around a -2.

damn i used to go -2 at most on LG and after not having worked on them in a while it's starting to slip from me. looks like i need to drill that more.

my LR was weird, first section i went -4 and the second one i got -10, granted it may have been the fourth section and i was feeling worn out from doing 4 sections straight but damnit i was close to getting LR into single digits

I would stop taking full length PTs for the moment and focus on drilling LR and LG, particularly LG.

My LR mistakes are just asinine. As soon as I look at the question again I see where I went wrong, and why the CR is right. I suppose that if my problem with LR is making foolish mistakes while testing I need to focus more on timed LR sections instead of drilling questions by type. I think this applies to my LG section too since I misinterpreted a rule in the first and third sections. Thoughts on this?

Ya, untimed I'm fine. Same goes for blind review (that's actually what I meant when I said "looking back at the question" woops), which brings my LR sections down between -2 and -0.

Has anyone used a 7sage course? What's the general consensus on it?

It seems like a good idea because it's not as structured (or impersonal) as a real life class, but I'll still be able to access all of those videos and other things.

I don't know though, wanted to put the feelers out.

I honestly think that its worth money. Since starting 7sage course (Premium course) I have improved my LG skills and my LR skills. His RC is basic but still good. You can PM me if you want more specific details.
