I'm fairly new so I don't know the specific protocal for helping you with a game. I know I couldn't post an entire breakdown. I'll be very vague in here (hopefully I don't get banned -- please don't ban me) and maybe if you need more specifics you could PM me.angels2fly wrote:Grouping games are actually killing me. PT42 Game 4 makes so little sense to me.
The key to figuring out the game is the rules about M having to review more than the other ones (while they must got at least once) and then J and M not being able to review the same things. If you are able to distinguish what J can review, you will be able to determine what M can review, and that will give you a large enough grouping to answer all of the questions.
I hope that helped, if not, feel free to PM me
EDIT: Can someone direct me to the review of PT70... that LR was miserable

EDIT 2: Nvm see it in the OP

Tea, you really need to start over with your preparation. Your subpar LSAT performance demonstrates a complete lack of understanding in regards to the test, and you would do well to spend at least the next year studying intensively, for at least 23 hours a day.PourMeTea wrote:PT 70

Guess I know what I'm going to be drilling intensively for the next month. LR is so WORDY in 70, jeeze.
I recommend taking the October 2014 LSAT. That is probably the earliest at which you could be prepared. It may still be too soon.

Has anyone ever completed PT68 Game 4 in less than 10 minutes? I've managed to get every game to at least <10 minutes, but I'm still trying to break 15 minutes with this game.

You can do it in 4 min, but the q was "sub 10" so..

Re: December 2013 Retakers
So I hopped on the Synchro bandwagon. First two days of using it... I was really focused and alert (placebo?) but I had also consumed a good amount of caffeine with it.
These last two days I've struggled to stay focused and alert when drinking this stuff. No caffeine today, not (as much) much caffeine yesterday. Do you guys really see an improvement when consuming this by itself?
Also, do any of you notice that once you get past a certain "caffeine sweet spot" it actually hinders your cognitive function? eg it makes me rush jump to conclusions sometimes before I really take grasp everything in a stimulus/question stem

I've never tried Synchro. But I would recommend that you try using maca powder and cacao powder (two core ingredients of synchro) independently of the synchro. Maca powder is very rich in B vitamins (B6 & B12 especially), which are considered one of the finest sources of energy from a non-stimulant. So, maca powder should provide a more level boost than caffeine since maca root works as an adaptogen effectively balancing out your body's hormone levels to create a very even sense of "natural" energy. Cacao powder is responsible for the increased focus and concentration that synchro offers (because cacao solids contain both caffeine and phenylethylamine). A table spoon of each powder should yield better results than an expensive supplement like synchro can.foundingfather wrote:So I hopped on the Synchro bandwagon. First two days of using it... ETA: Also, watch out because taking lots of maca powder can cause a serious boost in libido

tiered ordering game worked well for me. tier 1 was F/N/W and tier 2 was the articles. for all the conditionals, i also plugged in F/N/W and looked to see the implications of that. didn't do it sub 10 (10:34) but that's relatively close I guess. The most annoying part is that it is a very easy game, just really time consuming.bee wrote:wait lol im so confused. i have a good set up for game 3 that lets you solve it in ~3 minutes, but i hate game 4 as much as everyone else does. my quickest time with 68.4 is like... 14:30![]()

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Can anyone comment on the RC difficulty trend in recent tests? Seems like 57/58/59 and 62/64/65 were brutal for the recent tests, from what I recall.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
I think the opposite. the notes (if ur writing them down) could clog, and would just be a messier version of a 2nd tier. If you kept the notes in ur head, then u have to constantly make sure that u are not messing up (unless ur memory is really amazing) and that takes more time than drawing 7 lines and writing an extra letter. Also, having it written down allowed for deductions to be made about exactly where certain articles could go, and that would have been harder to see (and been slower) if you didnt have it written down.dosto wrote:I only had one layer ("tier") which was the article names, and just made a note to myself which ones couldn't be next to each other. I think writing down which of FNW they are would make you lose major time considering this is a brute force game with tons of hypos.bee wrote:yup i think thats how everyone set it up. honestly i think that game really comes down to how quickly you can write (im obviously a bit slower in this regard) and a bit of luck. its a very easy game, just mind numbingly repetitive and time consuming. if i hadnt finished the first three games so quickly i wouldve been majorly fucked on game 4.Thorcogan wrote:tiered ordering game worked well for me. tier 1 was F/N/W and tier 2 was the articles. for all the conditionals, i also plugged in F/N/W and looked to see the implications of that. didn't do it sub 10 (10:34) but that's relatively close I guess. Then again, if you have the memory to confidently go through it without the 2nd tier thus saving you some time writing it down, then by all means don't let me dissuade you lol.
