Essentially on your LSAC report there is a thing called a scoreband +/- 3 (im almost positive its 3. Someone correct me if im wrong and its 2) but that means if you get a 170, you were capable of scoring anywhere between a 167 and a 173. Although your actual score is what schools have to report I have heard that they kinda look at you like a 173 candidate and give you the benefit of the doubt, so-to-speakFrasierCrane wrote:What is the +3 Scoreband?Rupert Pupkin wrote:Awesome! I have a silly-person question.. I'm sitting here biting my fingers waiting to check my score.. but want to mentally prepare first before I log in to LSAC. Will we receive an email from the LSAC FIRST, once our score is posted?

Of course it's grey day the night I'm at a conference and we're about to be out super late. I'm glad they email the scores but I'm going to want to know the section breakdowns as soon as I get it :/ Hopefully my score's posted in the next 13 minutes!

update 2: looked at responses on answer sheet because they were strange. miss bubbled two questions and got 1 point lower because of it
. Funny because that was my fear in June so I triple checked everything in September.

Yay, didn't have to wait 6 hours! (175+:D )
(Legit spent 5 minutes on the gecko question and still got it wrong.

LSAC.org had everything posted a moments before I got the email with the score in it. But the gap was maybe a minute or two tops.ncrouch6445 wrote:Will we receive an email from the LSAC FIRST, once our score is posted?

Also congrats to everyone who has been reaching their goal scores so far! The poll looks pretty promising for the rest of us, or at least that's what i'm telling myself
