Anyways I'm all out of fresh PTs so im doing old ones over the next couple weeks. Hopefully I'll be back in form over the coming days. This my last take so can't leave anything on the table

Maybe I'll just combine the LR and LG of 71 that I want to re-do with either 64 or 59 (fresh take) to get that stamina practice.
Haha, just getting in the habit of waking up early. I am such a night owl, I do want to be half asleep for the morning test.

Also, for those that have the free time, I recommend going to see Arrival. Such an amazing film. I saw it last night.

I have been using a new personal approach to RC, and am seeing some improvements. I am thoroughly analyzing and taking my time on 3 of the passages (~30min), and speed reading the 4th (~5min).

The method I use to choose:

Scan the 4 passages, and pick the passage with 5 questions for a speed read. Typically passages contain at least 3 questions can be easily answered with a speed read (Main Point, Specific line/paragraph reference, and a general idea.) Furthermore, the shorter passages tend to be easier in general.

When their a two 6 question passage then:
-Pick the first passage to speed read (usually the easiest)
-When it isn't the first passage then the comparative read (tends to be more superficial and less detailed)
-If neither of the two then I just go by what appears to be easier at a glance

It seems like a long process but takes less then 30 seconds, and it also gives you a better idea of how much time you have i.e. how many total questions are on the test.

Seriously. It was so good and it was a great escape from LSAT studying and the president-elect.

I was going to do that but, whatever I already have every single test in existence might as well cap it off.

Any else watching UFC 205?
Me too. I'm trying to take as many as I can but I generally only find the RC and LR in 1-20 to be somewhat similar to recent tests.

Will watch UFC 205 on YouTube later. McGregor and Diaz was kind of weak. Hopefully this is a good one.

Second highest PT today! It was a proctored exam too, so really excited to do that with normal test day distractions because there were about 20 people in the room.

175
RC -3
LR -2
LG -1
LR -0

I was one stupid LG mistake from a 177. We're on the home stretch. Just have to keep grinding!

Edit: Well maybe not with "always," but never still seems to check out.

Can someone confirm?
Try to understand the reasoning behind it rather than rote memorization. I think it helps a lot. I'm not sure if I'm totally following what your saying, but it seems like it may be flipped. Hopefully, the below helps.

Never is the temporal version of none / no.
Always is the temporal version of all.

Never=none=no

When it rains, the sun never shines.
R->!S
S->!R
Thank you. :) This is quite helpful. I didn't realize they were simple quantity modifiers I guess you could call them.

I think I was getting confused with sentences where the sufficient modifiers were closeby, like "The sun never shines when it rains."'

Think it's somewhere in the single digit zone.
[+] Spoiler
The stimulus is about how a society cannot be coined "lawless" if it has crimes and that people should really call it "lawful."
Inference question. The two closest choices are either that a society with crimes has some laws or many laws;
TCR is the former since a society with crime HAS to have at least one law, but not necessarily "many."
Other than this question, however, I don't think there are many *ahem* any others regarding this relationship.
So which is it lads? Is many the equivalent of some (at least one, possibly up to 100%)? From the question mentioned, it sounds like it almost has a higher degree than some if that was the answer.

So I'm getting into the nitty gritty with RC practice recently. Can some of you recommend classic difficult passages in different areas? I have the most trouble with medical/science, anything with heavy terminology. Arts and humanities are easy af usually but a couple tough ones wouldn't hurt.

Good job mang!

Curiosity, how did you get it proctored? The best I can do is coax my friends into studying in the TC with me.
ScorePerfect (TestMasters) did a mock LSAT basically just to plug their program, so they offered it for free at my UG.

I like Jedrzejczyk and wonderboy a lot, I despise McG's Mayweather-esq attitude without the record to back it up. I think if Eddie can avoid his left and use his wrestling he'll pull off a UD.

Hype for my PTs tomorrow because of the fights tho.
Man I'm rather new to the sport. Just started watching because of JRE. McG is ultimately entertaining. You gotta have a guy like that around to spice it up. Diaz should've won that though. Too much cbd lol

Mcgregor definitely brings in a lot of new people just like ronda did. Diaz v. Mcgregor 2 was a draw in my book, maybe slight mcgregor but, he could have done so much more against a top 5 lightweight (he barely fought at welter). if you're new, check out a lot of old fights like hendo/shogun, aldo/Mendes ii, dillashaw/barao 1

also JRE is dope, Sam harris is my favorite guest on there.
Thanks for the recs. I was actually looking for someone to point me in that direction.

And yeah, Sam Harris is great on there. Hope he comes back to talk more AI. Technology is an area in which I'd actually like to practice. I find the ethics and implications of AI to be fascinating.
