yeah i was doing TM homework then realized i had t start getting ready for the wedding but wanted to still be productive so i watched watched about 11 lesson videos in the process. i've been really good this wk. averaging about 6hrs of studying a day

yes. on the way to the wedding we had to stop and buy more liquor for him to guzzle down. he sulked down the aisle. and when the minister asked the 'I do' question he said "do i really have to?" the bride replied "YES" then he was like "fine, i do"

Anyone else feel like December is approaching way too fast?

I cancelled plans this weekend to go to a theme park tomorrow because I "couldn't sacrifice an entire day." I'm officially a hermit.

Kind of funny...after telling a friend I wasn't going and discussing how stressed I was that I only had two months left, he replied "well I only studied a month and got a 155, just saying. It's not perfect, but as long as you' can get there you're good." I didn't have the heart to tell him otherwise.

Same....I have to unfortunately turn down social event invites if it's like half a day or longer. I'll probably only come out of my cave to eat a meal or something but that's about it...

My thoughts exactly. I even cancelled brunch this weekend, because I know I can't control myself when it comes to bottomless mimosas. No more having fun until Dec 6.

i gave myself Sun afternoons off. but that bcuz I gave up everything else. kickball league, my job, social activities. One afternoon of freedom is ok.. Right??

I'm having daymares that I will underperform in December and won't get accepted to any law schools

Aw, WC, don't think like that! We just have to keep working hard & when Dec arrives, we can walk into the exam knowing that we prepared to the best of our abilities. You're a marathon-loving, IDF warrior badass, you can totally destroy this exam

Lol well it's already happening. I'm like "I'm studying my life away just so I can fulfill my dream of attending a great law school! And what are YOU doing?!" I'm super elitist it's gross.

ETA: you know that you're studying for the LSAT when you start talking to your friends like this: "Having a letterboxd account is not a necessary condition for being a cinephile."

lol the equalizer... not the most amazing but I love watching movies lol though I've been out of it for awhile (LSAT obvi) so did 2 games while watching it... now gunna go work out before my day disappears into LSAT... thinking about bringing some LR questions for in-between sets... maybe MBT? or parallel? lol

ETA: I also don't like that the diag was given at 6:30pm and they gave us one of the harder PTs. I think it's all a marketing ploy to have us improve greatly by the last diag (which will probably be an easier one and it's at 10 am). That way we can all vouch we improved significantly. Also, I hate the trademarking of terms and the arbitrary assignment of numbers rather than calling a question by what Cambridge/LSAC/every other test prep classifies it as.

That sounds so annoying. 0_0 I'd be really pissed off over the hard diagnostic at night and an easy diagnostic at the end in the morning.

Postponing the PT I was going to take today until tomorrow. I want to drill all L1, L2, & L3 NA questions, plus do my TM homework today. We
ll see if I actually get to L3 NA.

Just curious to see how TM and BP differs, what's the general flow in terms of LR?

For my class, I'm starting off with Must be true/strong support-> mp/arguement structure->finally flaw/strengthen/weaken/assumptions.

We starting out with some formal logic and jumped into NA questions the first lesson. We also did one relative ordering game. For hw we have NA questions, formal logic drills, and some ordering/relative ordering games.

Honestly, I'm not super impressed thus far. I already know LG, but he rushed through one question and if I hadn't been familiar I think I'd be confused. And for NA I think he focused too much on predictions. I mean, predictions are important, but it was like he was saying you'll always without a doubt be able to predict the answer and that isn't true for harder questions. Plus, our instructor was 30 minutes late, but that was because of traffic.

no excuse... its a job, hell if you were headed to the LSAT but were late cuz of traffic I don't think they'd be like "well hell can't do anything about traffic... sure hop on in, the test started but who cares"
And yeah that sounds like a marketing ploy a little, hopefully it does help still. If he goes too quickly over something or states something like you'll def be able to predict challenge it. have him slow down. you're the one paying money for it not him so have him go at your pace, not his...

Im being a bit critical so I must be in a terrible mood right?
