RC Passage 2

Couldn't help but wonder if this lady was hot or not.

Turns out not so much.

Sometimes I forget that I'm reading about real things during RC. It think it sort of gives a better perspective when you realize you could actually learn something from reading these passages.

Thats almost the opposite of the point though. You aren't supposed to be trying to memorize the information in any of the passages.

Is PT 43's LR (especially S3) especially easy or something? Why did I just crush it hardcore? Am I getting better or am I just deceiving myself

Based on your written explanations on the Manhattan LSAT forums, I'm pretty sure it's you crushing it and not that it was an easy exam

Just found this forum. Testing in June for the first time.

Did my first cold PT in Feb and scored a 154. I've purchased the Manhattan series. Finished LG, almost done with LR and then moving to RC. I'm basically going from weakest to strongest. I have a 2nd PT scheduled in 2 weeks, and then one mid-May with drills and reading/studying in between.

Goal on test day is 165+. UG GPA 3.19. Currently an AD Air Force Officer, so I'm studying/working. OYE what have I gotten myself into?

I'd consider taking 30 days leave at some point and just focusing on the test.

Use the manhattan forums for LR

Use 7sage videos on youtube or their website for LG

and when it comes to RC just pray (just do a lot of them)

but thanks for the welcome! I'm hoping my studying so late in the game won't cause too many issues. I still have enough time to retest. Projecting Fall '15 or Fall '16 enrollment.

If you are just starting to prep I'd consider taking in September. You'd still be able to apply this cycle and if worse comes to worst you'd still have December as a backup. I just don't think with you're military schedule you'll have sufficient time to study everything you need to study.

I started this thread over a year ago and with only 68 days left to the exam, I almost feel like I should wait till September.

Maybe you're just a brainiac though and 68 days is all you'll need to score high. It's definitely possible.

On the flip-side, in reality, your average test taker probably studies way less than 68 days... but most of us here aren't the average LSAT takers.

yeah I'm fortunately not in a high-ops tempo job right now, so I can get in a good solid 2 hours of studying on lunch/at night, sometimes more. I'll try it. Hell, I'll just test again in Sept if need be.

Depending on your location (wrt test centers filling up) you may want to just take a PT right before sign up deadline- if you are close and feel confident- sign up. If not, save your $160 and sign up in Sept

I mean, the LSAT is stupid. It's 80% completely false and I'm like "Bitch. I built a submarine. 100 multiple choice questions don't scare me at all."

My goal is to have 1,000 quality explanations on Manhattan's forums. Doing the explanations forces me to really THINK. I am up to about 300 or so now.

....there's no way I'll be ready for June . Oh well, I'll keep pretending that I will be until the withdraw date!

Haha seriously, practically every question I look up on there I see WaltGrace's explanation.

Then I look at the month at when he posted and think, what the heck was I doing back then? I didn't feel bad when it was Jan, Feb, March, but then I came across some October 2013 posts today and was like "aww shit!"

It's at least nice to know I can trust his explanations, even if it makes me feel like a slacker.

I use to be really big into Mayer before I joined the military.

Gotta catch up on what I've been missing.

On another note, Walt, I think you're ready for June. Are you still in undergrad? I'm studying full time until the test. If you have the time like me there's no reason you shouldn't be taking it.

and guys, the LSAT really is an easy test. All you have to do is pick the right answers. It's not rocket science. Let's all get 180's and call it a day.

Had a rough day. Started out missing some level 4 Must Be Trues, then missed some easy Cannot Be Trues, some for stupid reasons (like losing track of the question stem while going through answer choices). Finally, I wrote out full explanations for 4 level 4 Nec Assump questions and got three (of the four) wrong. Yea it's been a rough day for ol' Louis1127.

I just called it a day after 3 hours drilling today. I started thinking to myself "After three months, you really shouldn't be missing this many questions" and I got a bit discouraged so I needed to stop today. If I had kept going, I would have just become more frustrated.

Tomorrow is a new day and I will start working hard again then.

I feel as if I have a decent grasp on the basics of LR. I am aiming for at least a -3 or -4 for both sections on test day. I'm cautiously beginning to think that I should just drill from Cambridge instead of going through MLSAT. I've gone through the Trainer already and have studied for the exam before.

Do you guys think this is going to prove successful or is MLSAT necessary?
