nil, breh. just like how my plans to finish velocity lg in five days is laughable.retaking23 wrote:I've been so lazy yesterday and today, I feel like it's been ages since I've studied. What are the odds that I'll get through 500 pages of the trainer in the next two days?

I'm not going to give myself an option tomorrow morning. I have 70 printed out, and I am going to force myself to get through it one way or another.

I bought trainer only for RC. I'm soo upset to see RC is in the second half of the book. Now I'm determined to get through the first half asap given skipping isn't an option 'cuz I feel I might miss something useful and wind up looking like an idiot later.
Lol. This is so funny 'cuz I feel LSAT has forced me to evolve and abandon the high school diligence that let me sail through college. Did other people here think they were the masters of efficient laziness until the LSAT?

I skipped to RC and am still finding it loads useful. Working through LG in the Trainer now and I am finding it kind of weird. But that might just be because I'm a double-layer sequencing guy instead of cramming other info into one slot.retaking23 wrote:I bought trainer only for RC. That's it. I'm gonna cram the non RC stuff today/tomm and be done with RC by Monday. Possible? If yes, then probability?angels2fly wrote:I skipped to RC and am still finding it loads useful. Not sure. It's a dense book. I am not touching LR in it though because I got Manhattan. I think you wouldn't be doing yourself much of a service cramming the non-RC stuff through. I am even splitting the RC into the two sections (did the first last week doing the second this week).retaking23 wrote:That's it. Also it seems like a lot of people ITT underperformed way below their super high PT average so at this point it's not like there's really anything new to learn.dosto wrote:I think most people here were very diligent with the LSAT the first time(s) through, but the fact that this is a retake with only a two month turnaround (more like one month since waiting period) makes it tough to stay on track. Maybe people would have an easier time if they could take a month or so off completely (like between June and October) before having to start up again.
not me though so I really need to step it up ugh

Re: December 2013 Retakers
I went through all the Manhattan books (even RC). Their LR and LG are awesome and I feel I have those two sections pretty much down. It's all about staying focused and not getting bogged down on any one question on PT/test day as far as LR and LG go for me.angels2fly wrote:

I'm up to 85th page in trainer and the LR instruction/drills are fine and I appreciate a slightly different perspective, but it's ultimately redundant.
Yes!!! I honestly feel there's nothing left to learn about LR/LG anymore what with 7sage, trainer/Manhattan. I neglected RC so badly my first two times taking LSAT. LR was a big priority then. Not so much now.melodygreenleaf wrote: Also it seems like a lot of people ITT underperformed way below their super high PT average so at this point it's not like there's really anything new to learn.
I just want to get past the trainer so I can start PTing again. So anxious to PT regularly again.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Do you guys think its a fluke that I got a 174 on PT41? It was fresh but idk if it was just easy... other than the circular game. I never broke 170 on a PT before October and only took two late 60s again (getting 171 and 173 last week which I just figured were a product of retesting) other than studying.
If this really is the power of reading the question stem first then I hate entire summer self who thought PS was a godsend.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
I took PT41 like a day after I found out my score and I scored a 170. Granted, I hadn't done any LSAT since the test, 170 was actually in the range of my PT average going in. I feel that for those that have not practiced with reading stem first, doing so will have an immediate positive impact on scores for the vast majority. So, no, I don't think your 174 was a fluke.angels2fly wrote:Do you guys think its a fluke that I got a 174 on PT41? It was fresh but idk if it was just easy... other than the circular game. I would advise that you don't read stem too slowly though. Skim it. Especially on the wordy ones that ask for role of "blahblahblahblah" and such.

Be proud. As I've stated before, 40s LR is a mindfuck, and not to mention 41 has the bizarre circle game.angels2fly wrote:Do you guys think its a fluke that I got a 174 on PT41? Would like to write out explanations for every answer choice on my wrongs in RC 57 as well as any q's I circled in LR. Has anyone does this for 57, for reference?

Hopefully I can keep it up on PT 42 on Monday. Can we consider circle games irrelevant at this point?Otunga wrote:Be proud.
