Re: The Official December 2017 Study Group
I wanted to do nothing tomorrow and Friday but I'm contemplating if I should do like 1 LR section tomorrow.
ugh, I'm torn but I'm leaning more towards doing nothing

Holy shit!
Yesterday, I did PT71 in two separate sessions, but individual sections back-to-back timed properly and got a DAMN 180!!! went -1 RC. SIK
Today I did a truly seated PT80:
172 (-8)
LR: -0
RC: -3
LG: -1 (DUMBEST Mistake but somehow crushed the buildings game).
LR: -4 (20 & 23-25 Im going to review but all questions that truly stumped me)
RC(Exp): -1 --> from PT78
Overall stoked where I am sitting. Really think I am just going to drill and review some hard questions from my respective weak categories, then do a section of each Friday and Ill be good to go. I shown that I can consistently score in all sections under -3, now i just think it comes down to flawless application and being ready for it

Do you guys think they will throw a weird handling items/trading game/virus/passing/or similar weird game on Saturday or will it it be straightforward? I am wondering if I should drill these weird games a few more times.

Re: The Official December 2017 Study Group
tough to say, but just my general thought is: I think its going to be hard LR and Hard RC like sept... would prefer the weird game though. Id be comfortable with those LG sections though because i feel like unless you totally get stumped on a hard LR or RC your score wont be impacted as much as not being able to figure out 1 game in its entirety and having to guessdamask_rain wrote:Do you guys think they will throw a weird handling items/trading game/virus/passing/or similar weird game on Saturday or will it it be straightforward? Man PT 81 has to have one of the hardest LRs I’ve seen in a while, just completed it as my last PT and went -11 combined. Damn.
Also a -8 curve on that test is fucking ridiculous, despite the easy LG

I kinda wish 7Sage had an option of inputting answers for individual sections so it can help with targeted drilling. I have all these LR sections I'd love to input into the system but I didn't do the games or the passages from the PTs. It's too late now anyhow but just random thoughts.

Yeah I've just kept a running log in OneNote for my section drilling but this would be incredibly helpful.AvatarMeelo wrote:I kinda wish 7Sage had an option of inputting answers for individual sections so it can help with targeted drilling. Don't you know? This is TLS! You must do an eight section test tomorrow to be thoroughly prepared ....littlewing67 wrote:Porque?LieutenantElmo wrote:Sounds like you are not properly preparing for judgement day...littlewing67 wrote:TODAY IS MY LAST DAY IN THE LIBRARY!!! Going to do PT 72 (retake) because I scored a 166 originally maybe 2 months ago? So why not. All I have left after are a few pages of the flaw and nec assumption Cambridge packets I might just do tomorrow and that is all folks!!! I’m excited

P.S. I agree with you, I am really excited, contemplating my schedule to avoid burnout but maximize review

Guys, I am really struggling with my schedule. I mean, should I study old bible notes and some recent PT work until friday or cut loose? Two cents appreciated

Wow, those last two games from PT 80 really are mostly all bark and no bite. The fourth game is easier than the third, I'd say. I've got to find a way to make myself stay calm and positive in LG.
It could be that one of my problems is putting pencil to paper before reading all of the scenario and the rules fairly often. Just a bad habit I have.

For anyone that has taken the test before, do I need anything other than my ID and my admission ticket?JamesBlahDeBlah wrote:Live like the bubble boy! Meaning, do whatever is necessary not to get sick and rest up.PrezRand wrote:Any advice on what to do these last two days

To be safe, have her bathe in hand sanitizer. For some reason, I found it really tough too -- but the consensus view is that it was muy easy compared to other LRs. Still went -5, -1, so I've been trying the last two days to figure out why I found it so difficult. Maybe I just suck at MSS?PhiladelphiaCollins wrote:Man PT 81 has to have one of the hardest LRs I’ve seen in a while, just completed it as my last PT and went -11 combined. Damn.

Yeah, I’m not sure either, the reasoning just seemed more convoluted throughout the whole thing. Not sure if it was just stress or if it just hit my weak points.paperworkjim wrote:For some reason, I found it really tough too -- but the consensus view is that it was muy easy compared to other LRs. LR is supposed to have gotten more difficult from the 50s/60s to the 70s right? In which case I'm screwed and I should probably just give up now...

Yeah that’s been my experience anyways. It feels like the recent tests are willing to be slightly more inferential in their LR answers. Purely anecdotal though.AvatarMeelo wrote:LR is supposed to have gotten more difficult from the 50s/60s to the 70s right? In which case I'm screwed and I should probably just give up now...
