Classic rock, R&B, bluegrass, *some* country but not most of today's typical stuff. Also occasionally enjoy some jazz and EDM.splitterfromhell wrote:What kind of music does everyone listen to?

Yeah the fact that she won't admit her failure is BS, especially when other candidates keep addressing it.McJimJam wrote:I hate her for both, more specifically on the business side her refusal to accept her failure of a tenure as CEO. i don't know if we all had the same test, actually... i only had one lg section - it was before the break and a little hazy, but i seem to remember layovers/nonstop flights and sporting events with or without preferential seating... ring a bell?Ar40 wrote:Which Saturday observer LG section was real? (Do all Saturday observers get the same experimental sections on Wednesday?)
The first one was SUPER Easy, I finished it with just enough time to spare. The second LG was my fourth section, was insanely hard, and scared the crap out of me. I frankly couldn't complete the 3rd and 4th game, besides for the setup questions. These 2 games echoed back to "mauve dino" difficulty, IMHO. With tons of possible solution sets, and weird rules.
I'm praying that the first section was real. I could see myself getting 2/3 wrong on it, but if the second set was real, I expect a minimum of 10 wrong. PLS someone tell me you didn't get the "Irrigation/Fertilized Potato slot 3 game" as game 3. PLS.
If not, how do non-Saturday curved grades work? If we all missed these, do I have a chance of getting a decent grade?
Also, based on the odds of there being a super EZ real set, or a super HARD set (multiple combinations of hybrid games, weird rules), which is more likely? If it helps, the other 4 sections of the test were fairly easy in comparison.
I'm so nervous.... EEK.

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Fair enough. That's just as good a reason. I just think she failed both in respect to her employees (massive layoffs, voluntary pay cuts made permanent while taking a huge executive raise) and the company stock holders (faulty acquisition, stock price plummeting). That's a double no-no. Not to mention lying about the source of revenue growth at HP and the fact that HP was flush with cash during at the onset of the recession and wasn't in any danger. Not sure why so many people like her. I'm done talking politics now.mist4bison wrote:Haha, yes. I think we are. I'm done. Sorry for derailing the thread, guys...McJimJam wrote:Are we arguing how conducive arguing can be right now?
But anyways I do enjoy talking politics, sometimes it does end up giving me a good laugh because the reasoning behind some people doesn't go beyond because that's what my parents said so. Other times though it does kinda open me up to a completely new perspective, which might not necessarily alter my view but makes other stances plausible.
For what it's worth, I don't hate Fiorina for her business record. I hate her because she's a woman and is shit for women's issues--birth control, abortion, equal pay, minimum wage,

Reggae, old school hip hop (bones thugs, etc., not drake, etc.), classic rock, some alternative stuff, a little pop (occasionally), and some indie acoustic stuff at work.splitterfromhell wrote:What kind of music does everyone listen to?

+1. But I still think it will be an age issue within white liberals to actually get up and vote. That's just common knowledge. The younger generation just isn't that invested.mist4bison wrote:Not true. His issue is with non-white democrats and white moderates. His support comes mainly from white liberals. Also, you fuckers better actually vote in the primary then and make this happen. Young people love Sanders but he'll probably lose because young people don't vote.

Same as the overseas from Dec. 2013, did some googling. A lot of ppl had a rough time with the irrigation one I got today. (this is the Wednesday Saturday Observer test btw). Welp, with minimum of 10 wrong just on logic games, guess Im slated for the lowest score I've ever recieved on any practice LSAT (and I did amazing on the LRs too). Sigh...

The issue that I see with talking politics is that people get defensive. It's about being willing to see other people's viewpoints and accepting that they really aren't wrong.

I really like top 40 music! Lately I've been listening to a lot of Lana Del Rey and also a lot of k-pop. I also studied music in undergrad and have a soft spot for music from the Renaissance.splitterfromhell wrote:What kind of music does everyone listen to?

Okay, i want opinions on this...Hot topic in the office at the moment.
Would it ever be beneficial to have a friend/boss/etc. who happens to know a LS dean (somewhat well) call them and put in a good word? I'm curious as to the effect it would have on an applicant's chances.

Top 40 and pop punk are my two main ones. I have a thing for movie soundtracks as well though.

Yeah, no that's still definitely an issue even if he rallies white moderates and non-white liberals. I just think that mods and non-white libs are the priority.Talarose wrote:+1.
