Re: Dec LSAT Study Group
On the 11th, I got an email from Cambridge LSAT saying that they would no longer allow people to download LSAT practice tests by August 15th because of LSAC. The email suggested that I write to LSAC if I am upset about this. Yet, I just purchased a downloadable LR PT today (the PDF kind). Did I miss something...?
I've been really busy with summer classes, so I'm finally getting the opportunity to start LSAT studying again, thank the Lord.

Maybe they're being lenient? That's odd.

I noticed that as well. Very curious to know what that's about...

Yeah, I wonder that too...because they said that, I purchased 2 bundles from them, and if I did not see the notification, actually I might not have bought them cuz I'm not sure I can finish themdeathoftheparty wrote:teacups wrote:On the 11th, I got an email from Cambridge LSAT saying that they would no longer allow people to download LSAT practice tests by August 15th because of LSAC. They have a warning about the downloads right on their website - I am very surprised that no one has mentioned this here yet. I'm very worried. Though August 15th has passed, they might be shutting down downloads by the end of the months, I'm thinking.

Re: Dec LSAT Study Group
Put in about 25 hours of studying between Friday night, Saturday, and today.
Most of that was RC - luckily my time as a English Teacher appears to translated into some success right of the bat. I would say I'm getting around 98% of the questions right, especially when I sit down and apply some previously learned LR "language parsing" tools.
Also purchased the Cambridge Bundles just in case the become unavailable to download restrictions.
How are things coming along for everyone else? Love hearing when others do well!

RC improvements by drilling individual sections or by PT and BR?

You lucky dog! RC is a thorn in my side. Determined to conquer it (or at least get a respectable amount of the questions correct)!

Work started back last week, so hard to find time. Been doing almost 2 hour a night on RC lately.

I'm rolling the dice and sending in apps without the LSAT score and then having the score sent to schools.PatriotP74 wrote:I'm not "officially" joining this one yet, but how concerned is anyone here about not getting apps in until late December early January?

So to make up for my wonderful skills at RC - I got a very rude introduction to LG tonight.DoYouEvenTLS wrote:YupSports wrote:Put in about 25 hours of studying between Friday night, Saturday, and today.

Re: Dec LSAT Study Group
Reviewed PT 40 today, literally ALL day.. Suffice to say, I feel like I REALLY understand LR now. Of course, I won't know until I take the next PT.
About to start the Logic lesson for 7sage today, so I still have a ways to go with the curriculum! Nervous about revamping my study schedule AGAIN..

Solid past 2 days of studying. I'm getting more comfortable with LR; I'm understanding why right answers are right and wrong answers are wrong.

Re: Dec LSAT Study Group
I got a much needed confidence boost today, broke 160 for the first time after two months of studying. Scored 162 on PT 62. My previous five PT average was 157, and previous high was 159. I know today could potentially just be luck or an outlier but damn did it do wonders for my confidence.

Worked on sequencing games.
I get all of the inferences fine, but in my quest for speed I often make stupid errors (such as writing the wrong letters for game pieces or copying sub game boards wrong).

Re: Dec LSAT Study Group
What's up gang. Looks like i'm shooting for December LSAT... More or so less because I missed the October LSAT signup date (i think?) and the small fact that I pretty much want/need above a 177

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
