I took BP also. I took it over the summer and was planning to take the Sept test. I postponed until Feb (not applying this cycle and busy before Dec) because I felt like there was so much more improvement on my own to be done after the class and the class went right up until a week before the test. I think its great for people looking to get into the 160s, but its taking a lot longer (for me at least) to get into the 170s which is what I will be happy with.nlee10 wrote:
I'm taking BP right now but I figure my question might apply to Testmasters as well. Did your class end right before the Sept. LSAT? With just weeks left in the course and the Dec. LSAT, I sort of wish that my class started a month earlier. Reason being is that I feel like I still need a month or so after the end of the class to really solidify my understanding (accuracy) with timing. Thoughts?

Do you think that the extra time has helped you? Have you been drilling or PTing since? I imagine those skills could be forgotten if not practiced for a few weeks.JackelJ wrote:I took BP also. Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I took about 4 weeks off of all lsat material and when I started back up the concepts came back right away. Well it took a couple days just to get back into the mentality. I think the extra time has helped tremendously because after the fundamentals were able to sink in I truly understand it better. Even the time off was nice and helped reduce stress. If you understood the concepts before taking a break, then a couple weeks off shouldn't hurt. I have not done a PT since September, I have only been drilling since then. I only have about 12 PTs that I haven't seen yet so I am saving them for another month. Right now I am just drilling.nlee10 wrote:Do you think that the extra time has helped you? Thanks for the insight! It seems like that taking a few weeks off might in the end be beneficial. I actually still have 4 proctored PT's with BP before Dec 6th so I will take into consideration my next plan of attack.JackelJ wrote: I took about 4 weeks off of all lsat material and when I started back up the concepts came back right away. Hey Guys,
I know many of you from Dec Thread. Are you not afraid of the Feb test being an unknown quantity and the curve being scary? I think I can prepare by Feb, but, those are my concerns.

I'm not too worried. The test makers do a pretty good job at keeping it standardized, so as long as one adequately prepares it shouldn't be different from any other administration of the test.lawjag2015 wrote:Hey Guys,

technically you have no idea what the June test will hold... you can look at previous ones yeah but does that mean you know what June 15 in particular will hold? #LSATLogiclawjag2015 wrote:Hey Guys,

Checking in. Retaking from September -- bad prep, but outperformed PT average. Looking for better.
