What I fear most is failing

Failing to get a 170+ even after all the studying I plan on doing.

+1

I live for this shit.

This is my thread. There are many like it, but this one is mine. The LSAT is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me the LSAT is useless. Without my LSAT, I am useless. I must score my 180 true. I must score higher than the enemy who is trying to outscore me. I must outscore him before he outscores me. I will. My LSAT and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds of practice tests we take, the amount of time we study, or the score we wish. We know that it is the score we receive that counts. We will score high.

I haven't studied in 48 hours and I just lost $400 on 25 cent slot machines. I hate myself.

Damn dude! You could've gotten two hours of one-on-one time with a Kaplan tutor for that kind of money.

So I got my study schedule off the LSAT blog. I have a question regarding the last day of the first week.

Are these games harder than most?

Preptest 35 game 4
Preptest 34 game 1
Preptest 37 game 4
Preptest 32 game 3

I thought they were all difficult.

They are all difficult when you are first learning them. You have to drill a games to get them down. Keep going and good job finishing your first week.

and I don't want the world to see me if I score less than a 170

because I don't think they'd understand. when everything is made to be broken I just want you to know who I am.

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah, you bleed logic just to know you're alive

I'm not a big fan of the workbooks. I kind of thought they were a waste of money. I haven't really gave them much of a chance though. Let me know what you think.

Oh, okay. I have the same thing but I bought them through Cambridge. I have every LR and LG question organized by type. It's very useful.

I thank God that I found this forum! I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one getting a headstart for the June 2014 LSAT. This summer I've become more and more obsessed with the LSAT, and the numbers I need to get in order to get into a T14. I currently have the Bible series. I'm ordering more material now so I can get really start once August hits.

P.S. Louie I'm with you on that mindset you have. 8)

Then come the PTs!
Make yourself a schedule or buy one off the LSAT blog. You must find a way to keep yourself accountable for continuous study.

I'm glad to have you here. What kind of numbers do you need? Tell me about your background and where you want to end up.

This past semester I did horrible due to a lot of personal issues which resulted in my GPA hitting sub 3.0, but with summer classes and getting straight A's I can have at best a 3.26. I need at least 170+ to think about applying for a T14(NYU more specifically).

I'm a 1st gen. AA male college student. I attend Mississippi State. I major in Finance. I'm heavily involved on campus. I've worked as an RA since my Freshman year. I have a ton of "softs".

170+ and you can pretty much go anywhere.

Study hard!

Have you considered taking time a year off or anything? Maybe go teach English abroad or do some time in the military? I did both. I know my apps will be all the more competitive because of it.

I originally wanted to go to law school right out of undergrad, but I didn't think I was mature enough to take on something so serious. I felt I needed some time to grow outside of the academic world.

I graduated when I was 20 though. I'm 23 now.

PREPTEST 33 GAME 2

question #7

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlGElczogoA

I don't understand how the answer is E.

I feel as if E should say, "There is at most one other bird in the forest."

How could there possibly be "two other kinds of birds in the forest?"

Only M J and H can be in. S G and W have to be out.

I think I figured it out.

________________________

S and J are interchangable. But the answer choice is misleading. They both cannot be in the forest at the same time. AHHHHH

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
