Hopefully I will be less of a nervous/sick wreck this go around and wont need some doom/gloom music to drown my sorrows like a goth teenager (Plz hurry work, I need lift then study). I think I'm going to take it in the sticks this go around rather than a city type area.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Mountain king is hilariously ominousdj9i27 wrote:For studying: Immediately before the test: Immediately after the test (for me):Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:We should get a tls study playlist going

That might be nice I'd imagine it's a bit more calming.dj9i27 wrote: Hopefully I will be less of a nervous/sick wreck this go around and wont need some doom/gloom music to drown my sorrows like a goth teenager (Plz hurry work, I need lift then study). Plus I'm stoked it's at 1230ish so I can panic to 3am and still be well rested. If I'm not PTing where I want I have no qualms delaying to Sept tho.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:That might be nice I'd imagine it's a bit more calming.dj9i27 wrote: Hopefully I will be less of a nervous/sick wreck this go around and wont need some doom/gloom music to drown my sorrows like a goth teenager (Plz hurry work, I need lift then study). Yeah before my most recent test I started working a morning shift the week before and had to get up at like 4:45. Extra 4 hours woulda really helpeddj9i27 wrote:Plus I'm stoked it's at 1230ish so I can panic to 3am and still be well rested. yeah I took in June at a place about 1 hr and 20 mins away. taking it again at the same place because it was a good TC and that trip feels like a joke to me with the route I go through to get to schoolMint-Berry_Crunch wrote:I took the test once at a center an hour away. Shit I took PT42 as a 4 section exam today and got a 174
LG: -0
LR1: -3
LR2: -1
RC: -3
Would've went -0 on the second LR if I hadn't read a MBF as a MBT. LG went really well, I finished with around 5 minutes to spare. I felt pretty shaky on LR though. I just didn't feel like I had as good of a handle on it as I normally do. There were a few where I was down to two answers and guessed the right one. It's usually my best section so I'm hoping I can shake off the rust.

Thanks man! The RC being pretty tame really helped me out. With us being a little over 3 months out I wanted to get an idea of where I'm at right now.Mikey wrote:Nice! I think I got a 167 on that oneblackmamba8 wrote:Shit I took PT42 as a 4 section exam today and got a 174![]()

I keep freaking out about June coming up soon but then I remember that most people outside of TLS don't start studying until 3 months out. We're all well on the way to our 170+'s.Mikey wrote:you're in a great spot!blackmamba8 wrote:Thanks man! The RC being pretty tame really helped me out. Re: The Official June 2017 Study Group
Checking in. Sat for the fall 2014 test and got a 166 after having a PT average of 174 in the month leading up to it. Was so discouraged I didn't retake right away, and after that I was too nervous that I had forgotten everything to try again. This morning, on a whim, I tried PT 30's LG section. I finished under time and got -0. Feeling good.
let's fucking go
