Can I just say that I love this place and you all had me LOLing

I'm a certified personal trainer! But I haven't been in the gym in way too longhotpinkpumas wrote:I've super curious about powerlifting/body building-- I've been creeping and watching tons of videos online and on instagram of people who do it! But maybe I'll hit ya'll up for tips one dayJgoods wrote:get jacked gurllhotpinkpumas wrote:damn i love coming home to catch up on 7 pages of TLShahaha you guys are too great
Ahhh that was me this summer and then I've just recently realized how out of shape I am because my mom was wayyyyyy too enthusiastic about me hitting the gym. So now, I'm trying to include it more into my weekly routine-- it's a super good stress relief from the exam/ studying! And plus my guy friend recently started teaching me how to lift, which I'm slowly picking up (pun intended) and I'm really enjoying it!And as a girl, lifting heavy things helps me think that I'm gonna be able to literally crush the LSAT.

My earliest class starts at 9:00 AM so I try to wake up at 6:00 AM, do at least 2 hours of LSAT studying and then everything after classes is dedicated to class work. Then I do two hours in the weekends too and that will bring me to 14 hours a week. I know that's not a lot compared to what people are doing here... but I've been studying from around February (obvs not really well). Also, I'm only going to be properly doing that from Sunday because this week my study schedule was completely thrown off because of taking the LSAT on Saturday (so I've needed to catch up on school work).splittingheadache wrote:also question for those still in school:
how are you managing your time with classes and lsat prep? Equal parts per day (5 hours class work + 5 hours lsat prep)? LSAT prep better in the morning?
That is actually amazing! I have begun to do that a bit. But I want it to come full force! At the peak of my studying last semester, no one could have a proper conversation with me and present an argument without being called out on a mistake in reasoning. I've started correcting my sister now and she's just like "Okay, I'm done. You're annoying."peppermint wrote:Oh god, I read the word "weak" and I instantly started thinking of Weaken LR questions. I have lost my mind.mist4bison wrote:Samesies. Also, LSAT studying has not been great for my health (...possibly coupled with all of the excessive drinking I did this summer...but obviously the bigger factor is studyingpeppermint wrote:

Ok, back to studying, haha).
It is hereby ordered that the Dec Waiters thread shall be wholly devoted to getting all of us weak girls into shape.

Yeah I can't imagine lifting while doing LR problems lol, I can see being on a bike or ellipticalmist4bison wrote:How?! You can't run, and read? I usually bring in lighter material with me when I run and do it...mist4bison wrote:How?!
