Re: December 2012 Re-takers
so this was a retake and I also corrected each section immediately after I finished it (but still timed and back-to-back in one go)
PT 54
RC -4
LR1 -0
LG -0
LR2 -2 (would of been minus one but I had a minute at the end and relooked at a question and changed it from right answer to wrong one *facepalm)
Score:175
Best retake test to date. Encouraging, since I only started studying again 2 weeks ago and I haven't done anything the last 4 days due to being sick.

In other news, miss the tinychat waiting and worm's random ass hypotheticals mostly related to you-know-what.

Re-reading through the PS LR Bible.
If any of you read through this book and remember the question I'm talking about, did you think the synesthesia question was really dumb? It's probably the dumbest LR question I think I've seen thus far. (Not sure if I'm allowed to type it out here so I won't).

I had way too much fun last night so I'm still recovering and watching A Few Good Men. Obviously I'll learn some LR skills watching the lawyers do their thang in this movie, so it's basically studying.

Edit: also I'm watching "Ted" and there was a moment that made me think of Sugar. Guess which one.

Just kidding. Heading to a frat party now (so lame but it's all my school's social scene has to offer). I started reading a new book late this morning and haven't stopped. That, my friends, has been my day in a nutshell.

Some weirdly worded questions, and it just felt like they never clicked. Gotta work on being able to adapt to non-traditional games better.HawkeyeGirl wrote:Yikes!! -3LR isn't great for you either. And 3LR isn't good, but its still realistically within my range, just the bottom end. Not really worried about that.

Honestly it was all of them. They were ridiculous. The one was a pretty standard ordering game, but it didn't list any of the variables, you had to derive the list from the rules... that definitely fucked with my head a little. Another one had 9 variables which seemed to slow down my hypos and got me behind the clock early. Overall just a mess.Lenahan3 wrote:Which game was it? I just went and took a glance at Manhattan. Was that the PT with the Souderton and Rou-something or another game in it (Sp.)?mrizza wrote:Honestly it was all of them. They were ridiculous. If so, I definitely remember it. I managed to wade through it with a -2 but it was a tough game. Prob top 10 all time.
