Not markedly. Maybe the following cycle. You can't even sign up for December anymore. The only people who could apply to many of the best schools already did well on the LSAT/took it.

Trump doesn't necessarily equal an economic downturn... if there is one, it's probably due to many factors that have been in the works for some time. Recession is not really the danger with Trump.

Granted, keep in mind this isn't because of some authoritarian bent. It's because the stocks tanked over the summer/early fall when the DOJ basically said they intend to stop using private prisons. Hillary's win would have likely secured that position. Trump's election means they have a chance. Granted, the whole private prisons thing is just a can of worms in itself.

on the matter of application cycles I think we are going to be in a kind one, if you are above 173 even in December I think you have a decent chance at good scholly money in the T10. the amount of retakers is a indicator I think, then again I'm no Spivey and probably making myself feel better saying that.

as for the economy this is going to be weird, I think we are sitting on another economic bubble that trump now has some power over, it'll be interesting to see what he does. also I'm pretty sure I'm going to take a T20 with a decent scholarship, the potential for a shit job market in 2020 just became too real of a probability for me.

I think everyone's always considered T20 with scholly a viable alternative to the T10.

As for bubble, certainly possible. Cheap debt tends to have that effect.

Also in the deepest corners of my mind I've considered going to Lewis and Clark because I want to live norther part of the west coast and I would go there probably for free, and I only want to work at mid-sized firm.

True I've had the debate about T6 close sticker vs. 15--17 full ride and I stay in the full ride camp. it's still very early in the cycle to tell, I think I'll be good at the 15-18 range I pull 173.

Honestly I would go as far down the list as like early 20's versus maybe CCN at sticker. There's no way in my mind that CCN are worth full sticker compared to going to a school completely or at least close to for free. I don't want to have to work in big law just to try to stay afloat. I'd rather try to work toward getting a mid-size law firm job and a comfortable life, in exchange for minimal debt.

I've still got 72,4,7,8,&9 left for full PTs as well as a few older left in the 62-71 book think it'll be good to try and have things similar. Or I'm fucking myself idk lol. Regardless this will make 3 PTs taken in the testing center, so no shock hopefully in 3ish weeks.
