i have fee waivers everywhere except chi, berk, and hys, but the lsac reporting fees alone are eye popping. im thinking about dropping a few schools off my list bc of how much it costs even with waivers.

also--has anyone ever had any luck soliciting from chi?

No info on Chi, but the reporting fees are also a main concern at this point... How many schools are on your list as of now?

yeah, that $25 is going to add up quick for you haha. Why so many? With your stats, T14 is obviously a sure bet and T6 don't really negotiate scholarship with schools outside T14.

also no luck from chi. or cornell ugh. debating on whether I want to submit to cornell without a fee waiver.

Did you go to the Stanford game? That was nuts. My friends and I couldn't wait to bumrush the field.

Back on topic. I want to send the apps, but my current score is to TTT. 3.60/163. They're gonna like laugh at me if that is actually my highest score. I feel pretty confident about December, but there's still that bit of uncertainty.

The only ones I'd say maybe to are the ones where you input a code in yourself. Northwestern comes to mind.

Higher stats that you and they said no to me, but I mean it could be worth a shot if you don't care much about just writing up an email.

They gave me the generic "you can see our fee waiver policy on our website [insert link]." but my GPA's below their floor so I'm not surprised on my end.

Apps are like all done with the exception of "why x" essays.

Do people have real great reasons for wanting to go to a certain school (asking related to "why x" essays)? I'm not asking for you to list them if anyone thinks I am trying to steal their ideas lol, just wondering.

I feel semi disingenuous writing them, but it's not like I don't want to go "x" school if accepted. FWIW I'm not lying like "THIS IS MY #1" and other stuff, but do people just find programs that they like and write about it?

Honestly, I solicited every school I was interested in going to (minus HYS & B) because that's a lot of money I could save with a really quick email and pretty much no risk.

fwiw i was below median gpa at schools where i successfully solicited waivers without an lsat. some schools just hand them out like candy, so it def doesnt hurt to give it a shot.

You make preparing for the LSAT sound like prison. Well, I guess it kind of is.

I actually liked preparing for it, it was a weird obsession in a way. I'm more happy about the fact that I don't have to think about it during every free waking moment.
