Why do people keep saying that about his economic policy? Yeah there are some who claim his policies to be unrealistic, but there are plenty of economists who are in support of his policies as well. I'm not an economic guru by any means, but I don't understand why people continue to say that as if it's fact when there is clearly room for disagreement...TexasENG wrote:Serious Answer:MiamiHeat3 wrote:Why are millennials/college students attracted to Bernie Sanders? like the guy is a proclaimed socialist. He supports a majority of progressive positions that people in the US tend to like.

Additionally he avoids the fear mongering that tends to dominate much of the Republican discourse.
Also I think he benefits from the socialist label to some extent as that makes him an "outsider" which is clearly a beneficial label this cycle (Donald Trump).
Edit: Doesn't mean his economic policy is based on actual math though, so there's always that.

I honestly have no idea how realistic his proposals are. He says them and offers people who agree with him, then people who don't agree with him come out and say it doesn't work.wellitsover wrote:Why do people keep saying that about his economic policy?
