Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Oh god. All of the ones I work with (~20) knew for at least a month before hand, because I had to explain all my random days off in September. I have gotten so much unsolicited advice and I'm so over it. Piece of advice: don't feed into it. When someone says something like "Oh, you should just go to Columbia" don't say "well, I have to see how the LSAT went..." just say "hmm. I'll look into it."chicharon wrote:So my supervising attorney at work found out I took the LSAT and outed me to all the other lawyers at our firm

Yeah, this is how I feel. I felt like it went really well, but now I'm questioning if I made stupid mistakes.splitterfromhell wrote:Anyone else just have no clue how LR went for them? I'm trying to predict my score and the range I'm coming up with is huge.

Same here. I think I did pretty well, but I also thought I did pretty well on PT 75, and it was worse than my diagnostic, so...splitterfromhell wrote:Anyone else just have no clue how LR went for them? I'm trying to predict my score and the range I'm coming up with is huge.

ETA: Also, I always forget republicans exist in the real world. I only ever see them on TV.

I'm in a techy/compsci job. So when I say I'm taking the LSAT, or that I'm applying to law school, everyone is just confused lol.

don't worry about it, everyone's performance is somewhat different during the real thing due to stress and stuff.gamerish wrote:So far my main (realistic) concern is how quickly I got through LR. In my drilling of timed sections, the faster I was able to do questions, even if I felt good about them, the more I got wrong. And I flew through both LRs on the test.
