Everyone who has their desired scores right now is seriously making me so jealous. I am still grinding for June but I wish I was in the position to just get my 172 and be done with this test.

Anything worth working for is not easy to achieve though so I guess there's no sense in thinking these thoughts. I am just going to make it happen for myself.

I'm with you brother. We're in a good place to be a little bummed about getting ~90th percentile scores but the best is yet to come. Just gotta reinforce those strategies that had us getting 99th%+.

I did, but my fb page is 100% private and only close friends could see that particular post. I had a lot of peeps crossing their fingers for me, seemed like the easiest way to let them know.

1,000 IMO but I don't like most status updates anyway.

And to answer previous question, I started studying again late afternoon of February 8th. I already knew I wouldn't like my score and was frankly, not prepared enough to get the score I wanted.

Will a 7pt increase warrant another look at waitlisted apps right away if the difference means going from <25th to >75th, or do most schools wait until after the first seat deposit deadline to go back to the WL?

yay hit 2 pts above target, 2 pts below pt average. feel great, 9 point overall improvement from december score. just retake that bitch. it can be done!

I scored 9 higher than my diagnostic just by taking practice tests under test-day conditions. While taking the tests, I would star the ones I was uncertain on. I would then review all the ones I got wrong and the ones I had starred, whether I got them right or wrong.

There are probably better ways to do this but it worked for me. I know there are tons of resources on TLS about techniques such as drilling which may also be super useful!

This. Dedicating ample time to reviewing tests immediately after (including those questions which you answered correctly but struggled with/didn't fully understand) is essential to 'getting' the test for most people.

TLS resources are also fantastic guides and motivational tools.
