Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
About Synchro. Wtrc's post just tipped the scale and I am now going to try this out. Quick question: how many times a day should one take this? Is one serving a day enough?

Have any Canadians ordered Syncro? It's $40 shipped w/ discounts. Is it REALLY worth it?

Is Synchro a nootropic or something? If not - have any of you experimented with using nootropics such as AlphaBrain while studying for the LSAT?

Amazon.com won't ship it to Canada... only solution is ordering it direct!PourMeTea wrote:I would wait until Amazon is back in stock, then- perhaps shipping is lower?HeavenBeyond wrote:Have any Canadians ordered Syncro? It's $40 shipped w/ discounts. Is it REALLY worth it?
Although tbh, I would gladly pay 30+ for Synchro because it is my lifeblood.

Wow, that is pricey. I know you obv wouldn't want to do this now, but I bet if you order in bulk the price goes way down with discounts.HeavenBeyond wrote:Have any Canadians ordered Syncro? It's $40 shipped w/ discounts. Is it REALLY worth it?

This is very true. 2 "heaping" tablespoons does the job.PourMeTea wrote:Once a day is enough, generally in the morning. You only really need half of the serving size. My UG GPA isn't very impressive (Didn't really know what I wanted to do in life) and need an impressive LSAT score

Normally I wouldn't think twice about it but I have school applications due as well as the LSAT fee!PourMeTea wrote:Ahh, tough call. I think it's worth it. Of course, I have to set up a non-published test centre so it's getting expensive.

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Just had a major RC breakthrough...thank the LORD.
PT-9 RC:
P1: 7m / -1
P2: 8m / -1
P3: 10m / -0
P4: 10m / -1
And similar results for PT-10
I know that this is hardly a spectacular score, but given that I have been scoring anywhere between -6 to -9 in the past two weeks, I will take this as a blessing. My LG performance is sitting at a steady -0/-1, while LR is absolutely killing me. I finished the PSLRB and am working my way through the Flaw / Strengthen / NA / SA Cambridge packets, throwing in a PT every week to monitor my progress / expose specific weaknesses.
I have been at it since late July (albeit extremely half-hardheartedly) and will hopefully be ready come December.

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Has anyone gone to where their LSAT will be administered and taken a few PTs in the same building or room?
I'm trying to do that for mine, but the college that it will be held at is unable to let me know if the buildings are open and what room will be requested.
I figured going there would help me become comfortable with the surroundings and also get me acquainted with the hour long drive in the morning that I'll have to do.
Any thoughts?

My LSAT was administered in my UG in a room I had multiple classes in. I was able to drill on two occasions in the room, but it was never free long enough to complete a full PT.HardenUp wrote:Has anyone gone to where their LSAT will be administered and taken a few PTs in the same building or room?

I think being familiar with your testing environment and already having testing experience in that environment can only help.

Still drilling. Did some old games today (THAT BUS GAME TOOK 15 MINUTES) AND Weaken and Flaw Drilling. Going to do some Parallel tomorrow. Hopefully next PT gets my total LR down from the −4/-5 it’s at now to −1/-2.

I think I might just go to my testing building a few times and mimic the admin bubbling waiting and the break.drawstring wrote:My LSAT was administered in my UG in a room I had multiple classes in. I find that it is easier to stay collected in the morning but the 15 min break with the washroom going and additional administrative stuff is hard to replicate.
The adrenaline goes down during the break. My proctors told 15 mins of jokes (bad ones) after the break ended and it threw me off as I didn't find them funny and it stressed me more. I think it will be very useful to do the 3 section /break/ 2 section at least twice before you go in for the real thing.

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Just took PT 43, the only LSAT PT I have that I've never seen. Extremely disappointing performance on RC.
Score: 169
RC: -8
LR: -2
LR: -3
LG: -0
My Lg and Lr are where they typically are but did I ever fail on RC. I got at least one question wrong on each passage. On the last passage I ran out of time on the last three (didn't bother guessing since this is practice). I did get them right while blind reviewing but UGH. This is worst RC I've had in forever (I usually go -4 to -6; nothing to brag about, but, compared to this -8....). I'm going over these 8 wrong questions and my mistakes are all over the place. My only solace is that I printed this PT and the font size came out about two sizes too small. Here's to hoping the Trainer will make me jump leaps and bounds because at this point it's really hard for me to do any worse.
