if they actually did that, like dropped RC for another games I would convert to the first religion that I saw leaving the TC.
i'd be so happy if that happened

Out of curiosity, do you read the question stem first or the stimulus first? If it makes you feel any better, a few weeks ago I misread a weaken question for a strengthen question and pondered my life choices for a while.
I switched to stem first midway through my September studying. I've found that I do better that way.
I'll give it a shot this afternoon, might be a little late to restrategize but who knows.
Idk man, stim first is life. My problem with the whole q stem/ stim first debate is that when I read the Q stem first I never focus on the problem in the stimulus. Like I love Mike Kim and all but Q first is straight up garbage. I think its way easier to think about one thing at a time than trying to concentrate on what you're supposed to get out of the stim and focusing on what the question is asking at the same time.

I had similar! Most embarassing LR fail was when I went -1 due to misreading, on about the fourth question, "X and Y do not agree over what?", and of course skipped over the "not" which began a new line.

Also, turns out games get a lot harder when you've read "At most" as "At least" ..... :/
THATS THE WORST, especially if your made up rule that came out of your misread actually makes enough sense to get through a couple of the problems and then you realized you fucked all of those questions up because of a simple misread and then you have a brief existential crisis over how on the real thing you could just as easily misread and fuck up 5 LG questions and screw yourself out of a T14 because of half a second of carelessness.

I'm leery about LG because even though it seems more manageable now, there are older games that straight fucked me up fam.

I don't know what to make of the fact that I'm acing the old RC passages I did 4-5 months ago at the start of my studies. At least I'm not a complete illiterate like the new RC passages lead me to believe.

Different strokes for different folks.

I read PowerScore first; stim-first is what it advocates because juggling sucks, which makes sense.
However, that applies more for RC because you're absorbing the passage before hitting the questions, which ask the same things.

LR is different; you don't know what each Q is asking, and identifying the stem first helps you strategize.
For example, if it's a main point Q, it's pointless to absorb the stim; skim for a conclusion, and you're golden.
For point at issue questions, don't focus on reading and just look for the "intersection" that the authors disagree on.

Not going to lie, they stress me out too because the posts are more like "hey guys I'm PTing somewhere close to a 150, do you think I can get to a 175 by December?" and then the answers are like " Well, if you work hard enough and you have the WILLPOWER you probably can. Good luck". Then I sit there like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO POSTPONE THAT SHIT, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET 175 BUT YOU NEED PATIENCE". So that type of mentality stresses out the type-A side of me. TLS is way more accepting of that type of patience and taking your time to get the right score which vibes way better with me.

Yeah I think the big thing is building habit, I honestly think that if you just stick with one or the other you'll probably be okay as long as that's what you're used to.

PT55 LG (ended with shuttle bus stops), -0 with 7 minutes to spare. That's a feel good start to the day :)

Starting to worry I'm focusing too much on LG - easiest to get to -0 and I fear I need to offset problems with RC but probably need to just work on RC so needing to offset it less in the first place.

I'm so excited. I think if Hillary loses, Dems will react with impotent whinging. If Trump loses, I think it largely depends on his concession speech (if he even has one).
