So cool! My dad is the Persian one. My mom grew up in Germany and they met in grad school in CO. I actually just watched the Anthony Bourdain: Iran episode. Good stuff. Do you speak Farsi? 'Cuz I don't lolz. Fluent in German though!

Sephardic Jew! Was born in Uzbekistan, so my family speaks it. My grandma taught me all the dirty words when I was young, obviously.

Nope - French and Russian though. (French because canada, russian b/c Dostoyevsky fixation in undergrad) I lived too far away from my Persian family to have picked it up.
Don't you wish you spoke it now? I would LOVE to list that on my apps. I have had several family members be tapped by the CIA/FBI for jobs because they need Farsi speakers.
