Holy shit that RC section...
LR -2/-2
RC -6
LG 0
171

BR
LR -0
RC -4
LG -0

177
we both went -6 on RC lmao. shit, it's better than how I did on actual test day
Yea.... I'm not sure how to deal with that. Like the reason I'm missing 2 in each LR is I'm rushing at the end for time. So if I get a little faster I could maybe go -0 or -1 each to make up for RC... Just... ugh...
I know lots of people say to get very quick on the first few questions to have time for the hard ones, but for me slowing down in the stim just a TINY BIT helped a lot. also, i started having at minimum 5 mins to spare at the end once I started realizing I needed to go slower on certain question types. my biggest weaknesses (which I have drilled like a mad man a ton but will always be my weakness) are weaken and strengthen questions. I go slower on them, regardless if they are easier or harder. while I know basically all other Q types I'm good at so I try to go a little faster with them. idk if you have a weakness but if you do, try going a bit slower with them. for me when I do S/W Q's since I suck at them, I read it slower and then at the end I will just refresh myself with it again and say "ok they're concluding ___ because ___". so it's slower but helps me a lot since they're my weakness

idk, I'm prob spewing BS but it's what I do lol

don't do any serious studying the day before (maybe like one section of each in the morning) and definitely watch some dumb tv or something like that at night

stick to your same warmup/morning routine the day of

be confident and believe in yourself

kick ass and bring a soft pretzel for your snack
soft pretzel for the 180. GOT IT.

I'm just like UGH because I freaked on RC in sept. pretty bad and that cost me getting a score I would've liked :/

that won't happen because of all the additional PTs and studying you did :)

also if you find yourself getting stuck like that you can just like close your eyes and take 5 long breaths - sounds cheesy but it could help settle you back in for sure

for me at least too a huge part of it was just being in a good mindset before the test began and just letting that carry into an 'in the zone' type of deal where you instinctively use all the techniques you've practiced

nothing on the test will be anything you haven't seen before in some form, guaranteed, so that type of mindset/bringing yourself back into the moment with the closing eyes thing will let you get back into that instinctive mode

I can't decide if I want to take another PT or not. I feel like I'm getting sick (this is what I get for visiting family :P ), and think it might be a better use of three hours just sleeping instead. Of course, if Saturday doesn't go as planned I'll blame not taking the PT...

I loved the first season and watched it all in one day, but the second season failed to live up to my expectations. :(

Yeah, based on how I'm feeling this morning definitely going to skip the test and nap instead. Maybe I'll redo one of the harder LG sections during the week as a compromise.

A lot - prolly through Friday tbh but on Friday I’m probs gonna just do logic games. I’ve always been the type to study up until the exam and it’s wkrked for me for the last time.
I plan on taking another 5 section PT monday and then just a 4 section Weds and then just reviewing and drilling in between. Tapering down as the week goes on, but adj accordingly so im not super stressed. I dont want to burnt out by friday, so how much i taper down will depend on how i feel as the week goes, but really my goal is to stay at 70ish% my typical workload. Easy going Peak Week.

And on a similar note: going through feeling super burnt out and motivated all the time. Its annoying af. As long as I feel motivated and in destroyer mindset sat morning, Im all game.

For me-my biggest goal for the week is to consistently continue getting up early when i have to for test day, and getting full nights rest by going to bed earlier than im used too as well.
Ugh I can relate to everything you just said. My brain is motivated but I'm so burnt out. 6 months of this shit full time is my absolute limit. And I've been struggling to sleep early too. I think I'm going to take a sleeping pill Friday just to play it safe.
Same! I know your struggle as I have been studying full-time 6 mo too. Ive been taking this stuff called "MidNite" for like two weeks to help me go to sleep early since im a night owl and its pretty hard for me to go to bed before midnight and I wanted to get a full nights sleep. Its really good. Its got a small dose of melatonin and some other herbs and i havent woken up drowsy.

PT 63

LR1: -1
LG: -0
LR2: -3
RC: -10 (lol)
Total: 87/101, 167

So it is apparent the main drawback of spending a bunch of time on older tests is not being prepared for RC, though I think it is a matter of panicking that I will run out of time and rushing through questions, since upon review a lot of them are ones where I missed a better answer by not closely reading all of them and just picking the first one that looked good. So I will be drilling/BRing RC much of this week. Otherwise I think I'm good...I would certainly take a 167 right now, and the fact that I hemorrhaged so many points away in 1 section and otherwise performed like a 170+ scorer has me optimistic...assuming I can bring that -10 down to -5 or so. Also, the first game in the LG section seemed way too easy...I finished it in 3:30 and thought I had done something wrong.

How does one eliminate/identify a trap answer? My elimination game for LR is almost on point, but whenever I’m down to two likely answers I always choose the wrong one = =;;
