Any third-time takers out there? How are you keeping yourselves motivated?

Between my regular classes and working on apps I'm finding it difficult to balance LSAT in there. I guess I could hold off on the apps a little bit considering I'm retaking, but I just want everything done. I think I'm doing too much at once.

Just took PT 65.

165/BR 177

LR1 -3/BR -0 (Literally should've gone -1 but I did 2 stupid mistakes in the first 15)
LG -6/ BR-0 (Stopped drilling LG about a month ago to switch for LR and it paid off but now I gotta get back at it.)
RC -6/BR -3 (Usual RC ownage)
LR2 -4/- BR-1 (Got 3 wrong in the first 15 because I'm an idiot.)

Total
-19/BR-4

If I would've gone -1/-0 on LG I would've gotten a 170 so I definitely need to start drilling packets like mad again.

I have literally never drilled 0_o It completely depends on the person's style of learning, but for me drilling would be like only running crazy fast, short sprints when I should be training for a marathon.
For those of you who do drill and find that it works for you, what all do you get out of it?

edit: it seems gamerish has already answered this haha

Not sure what to do about logic games. I'm probably just going to run through cambridge again, I feel like LG is the section I am most likely to utterly bomb.

anyone else feel like Duke will pass Virginia and Berkeley in the rankings? they jumped from 11 to 8 and I think they'll continue to climb a little higher.

I'm going to just go as hard as possible drilling with games until December. I think I have this perception of them being easy from tls and since that doesn't align with how crappy I am at them I feel more discouraged than on rc or lr

My method is I made copies of all of the one-page games (up to PT ~65?), and I shuffle them like cards and pick a few out to drill. I time myself for each one and any game that takes me longer than 10 minutes to complete I watch the 7Sage explanation for it (free).

Also bought an old copy of Master the LSAT because apparently it has a good section on doing hypotheticals for games. Only going to use it for that section, but the book was like $4 used. I'll let you know if it's any good.

Man I hate myself right now lol. I did preptest 61, and game 2 should have been easy. I knew what the game was, and how to chain up the rules. I just got unsettled with the weird configuration of the relative ordering sequence. Execution seems to be my biggest hurdle right now. I have to do better with not freaking out when I don't understand something.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
