Dear LSAC,

Alas we meet again. I bet you enjoy toying with the emotional status of 20,000 FEB LSAT takers (130,000 per year) and making us wait. You create a test that most law schools require, you use written intricacies to toy with our minds. Ahh yes, the "some, most, never, always, could, would, should, no, many, no" words that we are required to pay attention to; the " flaw, assumption, strengthen, circular reasoning, method of argument, role, ad homemin attack, parallel, parallel flaw, scope" methodologies that we spend hours learning and perfecting; the sifting through " however, thus, therefore" indicators for a conclusion- or perhaps secondary conclusion for the premise to the main argument to which the real conclusion is the first sentence; the "selection, distribution, hybrid, sequencing, and other" types of methods we need to learn in order to put " HJKLMNO" in the correct order based on who got the best score on a test; the reading comprehension section that makes our brains explode because nobody on earth would ever- EVER- need to dissect a passage in 8 minutes or less, unless, of course, you need to read a complex user manual on how to diffuse an explosive device while Dolf Lundgren is screaming in your ear.

Yes, you thought you had the upper hand on this one, you only thought you were in control. I spent the vast majority of the last 6 months drilling all of these sections to perfection, only to have my dreams crushed because of one forgotten rule or a misread parallel flaw stimulus. You only thought that I would be begging you for my score. You only thought that I would lay in bed for two hours going over my exam, wondering if I forgot a mysterious rule in the logic games section --for instance, in the dinosaur game ah yes, the mauve velociraptor, I remember that tricky one where I forgot a rule- you only thought I would wonder if I crushed questions 15-22 on the LR section- yes I know your trick, placing 3 and 4 stars there- you only thought I would care about some sinking test and you only thought I would be glued to the computer incessantly hitting refresh.

Well, good job... you were right; however, I am taking my power back in this relationship. I won't be logging onto LSAC today... HA

P.S: please dear god give me a HIGH score.

I hope scores come out today AND my score is HIGH!!! Why, you ask?
So I can torch all of my LSAT books this weekend

They actually have some resale value if they are in decent condition. Just sayin

It's to early unless it is 6pm ET and noone has received their scores yet.

I have heard that scores typically are posted between 3 - 5 EST.

in previous post, someone saying LSAC do not want people calling about their score, so they tend to release in Friday 5pm EST, so give ppl sometime to get used to their scores LOL interesting theory

Do schools get your score early? FSU just put me under review. It'd be nice if it was because I killed the LSAT and they got it early.

In December scores were released Jan. 4th and Dean Z wrote a blog post about how they were released to schools on the 5th... so sadly I don't think this is an indicator.

Probably for the same reasons we stay glued to a forum like this while at the same time refreshing our LSAC account page looking for signs of something --- anything that might appear different.... Because we are all fucking nuts and stressed to the max about a test that means way more than it should...

But, to provide a sincere response, I think people call to have hand grading, etc...
