Did you have LR RC LR LG LR? I had that combination and I think second LR was experimental.AbbeyS wrote:You know...I'm still really salty that I haven't figured out which of my LR sections was experimental lol. I'll never know. Literally. I'll die never knowing which section didn't count. Omg

This is what I had. Mine were 25-25-26, so I know it was the first or second. So guess it was probably the second lol.wellitsover wrote:Did you have LR RC LR LG LR? That's what I heard, but even still, it means nothing. I can't remember which questions were in which sections so for all I know that could've been the one I nailed but idk. Anyone not in school still?
I'd rather be dying during a college semester than be in my situation.

I am working full time and enjoying it. Money! Relaxation! Solidified GpA!
My full time job, although pays great, is not challenging at all, which is what is making my time drag on! I wish I had something more occupying/challenging to do!

So how fit should one get before starting law school? I heard you have no life/time to workout, which will suck.

I'm obsessively trying to get in top shape now so that by the time I get to law school I can focus on just maintaining instead of losing weight. You're gonna have time to take care of yourself. If not, you'll have to make time. That's what I'm telling myself anyway...health is too important for me to throw away so I'll make sacrifices for an hour of gym time if need belizzielemon wrote:So how fit should one get before starting law school? ME TOO!
I've been working out a lot recently for the sole purpose of law school. Can't go in being unfit then getting worse there. Need to go fit then give myself room to be unfit if needed!

+180. Walking everywhere and living above 8,000 feet for a few months doesn't hurt! In grad school I found that I was much happier and more productive and successful when I made time for running, climbing, hiking etc.AbbeyS wrote:I'm obsessively trying to get in top shape now so that by the time I get to law school I can focus on just maintaining instead of losing weight. Me too. I'm just more enjoyable to be around when I'm confident with my body, and that comes from working out and eating clean for me. I struggle now because I had knee surgery my last semester when I was also stressed AF and got all kinds of gross...and it's no fun being around Abbs when she's feeling gross. Soooo I've dedicated this time to getting back in shape & staying that way.shineoncrazydiamond wrote:+180. Walking everywhere and living above 8,000 feet for a few months doesn't hurt! I've been told to visit Aspen and I'm scared because of the altitude.

I'm currently living in Bolivia. I definitely felt it for the first couple of days (especially on day 3 at Carnaval and the associated drinking/being out in the sun all day). I also do a lot of hiking and climbing at pretty high elevations (and did so when I lived approx. at sea level) and my experience is that you should give yourself a day or two to acclimate before doing anything strenuous (or any copious drinking) and then you should probably be ok! Aspen and all of Colorado (at least the mountainous part) are beautiful and totally worth it (although I am more of a hiker/climber than a skier).lizzielemon wrote:Where do you live??shineoncrazydiamond wrote:+180. I want to take 2-3 months off before law school myself and go to a few countries. If only this damn score would come out so I can know where I'm attending, and then leave my job and travel!!

Yeah I've been going pretty consistently. Plus I just received my GNC package today that I spent $160 on so no turning back now. I have to give myself incentives like "Do this or you lose money" to stay on track haha.lizzielemon wrote:AbbeyS wrote:Me too. Do it! I am working with a small but really fantastic local organization that does a lot of community-based environmental/occupational health work and related program development, addressing gender stereotypes, etc with cooperatives of (super awesome!) women working in construction in peri-urban areas south of the city. I'm really using my Spanish and trying to learn Quechua. I love the work and the people with whom I work, and am living in a house with folks from all over the world (and my s/o) so it has been fantastic so far (only been here for two weeks, home sick today hence more posting than usual-I am often at community meetings until 10 pm). I'm taking May-July to travel through other parts of South America and maybe working my way up to Central.lizzielemon wrote:That's awesome! Not to mention the fact that looking better and having more confidence in yourself will definitely translate to more social capital along with performance in interviews.
And it'll also help you focus on your studies more as well.

That's awesome! I've been doing the healthy eating and working out 1-2 hours a day.
I haven't craved any junk food in over a month, which is weird but great!
Completely agree about body and mind. I've realized when people say mind over body, it's so true! Once I convinced my mind, I had to do it, my body just sort of complied. It's nice!

That's awesome! I'm thinking of doing South America too in the summer if all works out! I've done the Europe and Asia thing already, so need to go somewhere new! I've heard awesome things about the south american countries! Although I should probably brush up on that Spanish. I know the minimal I need to get by in California!shineoncrazydiamond wrote:Do it!
