Dear god thank you for starting this thread. Some people were posting on last June's thread for 2016 and it was like 7,395,761 pages long.

I suppose giving up alcohol is the next step to get the study ball rolling.

I also just went way too hard on the gin & tonics last night. Especially for a Monday.

I need to print out all the PT's. That's so much ink and paper.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
Hello everyone! So what is the TLS consensus on RC prep? Moving forward, I assume I should be reading more and more dense material perhaps? I've picked a couple of topics that I searched Jstore today to focus on and bookmarked some areas that I want to dive into (The Moscow Show Trials, the history of HIV, The Second Amendment.). What I am wishing to do is use the time I usually spend reading the news or something on dense material from a wide variety of topics: Essentially fashion my mind into test mode in the coming months. Of course, I have RC passages and I will be dissecting what the questions want/ask me to do, but what is everyone doing to keep their reading mind sharp?? It might sound lofty, but I want the RC section come June to be a walk in the park!

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
So I am pretty much set on doing every RC starting at 1. Unless you have already burned through some, that's about 3 a week from now until the June administration. I don't think JSTOR articles are a bad idea... but why deviate from tested material unless you have exhausted your options?Binghamton1018 wrote:Hello everyone! I haven't researched much into the speed aspect because I finish with extra time, but I need to get more questions correct

Wondering if I should do a diagnostic or not.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
So I mentioned a couple of pages back: how does everyone feel about taking a PT around the same time as each other and reviewing together? I have scheduled a PT tentatively for 2/13 and am thinking either PT 64 or 65 (open to suggestions/consensus). It’s a Saturday. I think together, if we pool our collective understanding of the intricacies/subtleties of the test together, we can really help each other out and gain new perspective! Looking forward, much has been made about the differences between newer tests (say: post PT 60 or so) versus older tests. I would like to explore these (supposed) differences as a group, so we are prepared for this coming June.
Happy prepping my friends and welcome to all those that are checking in!
P.S.: I'm open to any method of reviewing the tests that will work: chat room? some sort of "Go-to-meeting" program, I don't quite know.
