I have been studying by tackling all the sections (LR, RC, and LG) simultaneously, as in I usually drill at least 2 of the sections in one day. This usually keeps me from getting bored of the material. I was wondering if most people worked on all the sections at the same time or if people focused on one section at a time. For example, do you only do LG for a few weeks until you master them and then move on to LR? I've already been studying since the summer and was just curious about other peoples methods.

I originally focused on LR, then LR. Now that I'm just drilling, I mix LR and Rc and about once every two weeks I'll do a few games. (I've been going -0 on LG, so it's definitely on the back burner). I think mixing in order to avoid burnout is important, though.

You make a good point. I was also going -0 on LG when I was PTing, so maybe I'll put that on the back burner for now too. It's just much more fun to do the games than reading haha. Right now RC is my downfall. I just can't stay focused enough when I'm reading the passages.

For the Sept. LSAT, actually thought it was pretty good - I would highly recommend it to people working FT. Some pretty good stuff comes with the class, but don't let them tell you that vocab quiz is worth anything

I'm taking BP right now but I figure my question might apply to Testmasters as well. Did your class end right before the Sept. LSAT? With just weeks left in the course and the Dec. LSAT, I sort of wish that my class started a month earlier. Reason being is that I feel like I still need a month or so after the end of the class to really solidify my understanding (accuracy) with timing. Thoughts?

Yeah I feel you, nlee. Mine started the last week of Sept and I think it would've been better starting the first week and having 3 weeks in between the test and last class, with some extra proctored PTs thrown in.

I took BP once and felt the same way. It was for the Oct LSAT, but I immediately changed it to December because I didn't feel ready.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one, haha. My class just started implementing timing this week, which IMO, for the average LSAT taker is not enough to master in 3 weeks.

Exactly! I suggest switching over to the February exam The BP class is good for an overview and learning techniques. You need about 2 months afterwards to practice timing and drill,drill, drill. IMO

I think I will end up taking both. I can be pretty anxious on standardized testing so getting that first experience could be beneficial.
