1. 172 is not enough for the schools I'm interested in because of my sad, sad GPA.
This is my life right now. Except, I also have a sad, sad (by TLS, and tbh my own, standards) LSAT score.
Sighhh same here...

Ok, I'm giving myself until tomorrow to throw my pity party... then I've got to turn this sad mess into an awesome splitter success story! If we buckle down I'm sure we'll both do much better in Dec!

Whenever I feel like my GPA is dragging me down (which is quite often), I remind myself how lucky I am the law schools place so much more emphasis on the LSAT than on the GPA. At least we have a chance! Good luck to us, but good studying more I guess

Seriously just put my mind at ease. It's way too easy to lose sight of this when you're panicking. Thanks for this-much needed! And good studying to you as well

Sort of thinking it'd be a waste of a PT without a new strategy but it's hard to justify missing out on a study day with such a short turn around for Dec.
Wait it out.. just drill some LR or LG questions.
I'm sort of kicking myself for buying the physical cambridge packet books instead of the PDFs.

Are you just drilling with Cambridge or taking PTs?
Following the LSAT trainer 4 week plan which consists of several PTs & drills. And using the Cambridge packets to clean up weak spots on certain questions. (ie: additional drilling)

After a very entertaining lurk through the October 2013 waiting thread and a mid 160s result when the mid 170s PTs seemed to be rolling in, I'm on board. I've ordered The LSAT Trainer book and I plan on being back in the local library after a day or so of mourning.

I guess I'm checking in. Hoping to raise my score higher than what I got.
Good luck to us!

Do you care a lot about applying this cycle? If not, the easy answer is Feb.

Anyone want to schedule a PT to do and then go over for next weekend (Nov. 9th or 10th) or something?

I'm absolutely interested in this idea- let's see if more people are for it. +1

Anyone have any advice on LSAT trainer v. Manhattan? I've done neither, but have done Powerscore Bibles and all PTs... so looking for new material in the next month.

I'm up for anything in the 50's... kind of saving the 60's for later Nov. since they're still somewhat fresh from Oct.

Could anyone just break down how exactly a December retake will affect application cycle and prospects of getting scholly money? EA and ED are all but out of the picture no with deadline tomorrow?
