Yeah the email has the score. The subject should be (I think) "Your June 2010 LSAT Score", the first few lines are stuff about not answering to this email address, your name, your account # blah blah, and then they give you your score. So the score doesn't show up in the one-line "preview" function that some email providers have.yurishima wrote:Huh. Does the email contain the score? I don't want to read the email expecting the number to be there, only to have to go to another site. Nor do I want to be surprised by the score's sudden appearance in the email!

I wonder if we'll get less fee waivers since our score will come out later than the U.S. takers?

Arent the scores most likely to be released when the majority of us Asians are sleeping... considering the time difference?

Usually they release them around 6 or 7 pm EST.... probably to avoid any frantic phone calls

Also, they don't all come out at the same time. They start coming out around 6~7 pm and continue for several hours... there doesn't seem to be any pattern in the order... same test centers will have their scores released at roughly the same time but that doesn't hold true for people in the same county / state / country, etc. So basically if you don't have yours and others do, you have to wait for an indefinite amount of time.

Re: Official June 27 2010 LSAT Waiting Thread (overseas takers)
It's 5.15pm Monday here in Australia, which makes it about 3.15am in the US. If scores are released today I guess we'll get them sometime in the next 12 hours or so.
Just making assumptions though. I'm basing this on the idea that scores regularly come out 3-4 days early.. but really I have no idea.
EDIT: Just read the above post. So the earliest we can expect a score is in 15hrs or so.

Quick poll for posters in this thread:
How many times have you taken the LSAT? How many times in Asia?
Me: I'm a newbie - first LSAT was this June one.

Re: Official June 27 2010 LSAT Waiting Thread (overseas takers)
It's my first. Took it in Australia. Most of the people at my test center (all 8 of them) were planning to study in the US. I think only a couple of us were doing it to stay in Australia and study at the University of Melbourne.
It's a bit nerve-racking, deadline for for 2011 JD was today and we don't even have scores yet. Personal Statement and Academic Transcript is looking good but I wish I had an LSAT score to feel good about too.

This is my first time. I'm telling myself that although the US scores came out 3 days early, it only came out 1 business day early, so I'm scaling back my anticipation until Wednesday (although would be relieved if the scores came out overnight)

My first time too.
I'm freaking out every time I get an email alert. I forgot about it this morning and then just as my Gmail was loading I had a moment of panic.

So, theoretically, I may go to sleep tonight and wake up to a score result in my email!!!
But, to answer the question, first, and hopefully last-timer.

Now that the scores will be released any minute now - is it ok to talk specifics about questions on the test in the eyes of LSAC or are you technically never supposed to talk specifics since this exam is undisclosed?

Unrelated to the test: does anyone know if there is an established thread for swapping or sharing critiques of law school resumes, the way there is one for swapping personal statements?

Re: Official June 27 2010 LSAT Waiting Thread (overseas takers)
Just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck with their scores!! I took it with you all though it turns out I had a completely different test for some reason (opened my own non-registered test site, that's prob why). I actually canceled though because I felt I could do better and really need to bring my A-game for this score! I figured it was best not to risk getting anything below my average PT score.
Anyone else lurking who is taking or retaking in October overseas? Since the October date is the same as the U.S., is our test still going to be different/undisclosed?

I'm wondering how much alcohol it will take to make me fall asleep.
I don't know if it's better to know or not know. Maybe it's better to not know, you know? Who knows, after knowing I might be more miserable than before knowing. Maybe I should be grateful that the LSAC gods have decided to grant me eternal limbo. Or pray for eternal limbo. You know what I mean.
Yes I have already had a few drinks.
Asianette, overseas tests are always undisclosed.

I suppose it's a bit late now that you're already boozed up, but have you thought about exercising to exhaustion? That usually helps me in these situations. Or if exercise isn't your thing, any hobbies? Good book? Good movie you've been dying to watch? I watched Iron Man 2 the day before the test, and it helped me pass the time.kazu wrote:I'm wondering how much alcohol it will take to make me fall asleep.
