Nervous with a 171 and a 3.8? You could be 99 and you'd still get in almost anywhere. Unless the "rough time of things" is a euphemism for "felonious."

I'm 20, will be 21 when start, but I've been out of undergrad for a year. I feel like im 40 tho, and I have done a lot of things, travel, work, and I have a good idea of what I want.

I'm 21, 22 when I start, but I feel like I'm 60 and I know what I want. Feel like retiring and riding a yacht around the Bahamas for the next 10 years or so.

a fireinside, Do you not want to be all you can be? I was a captain in the army. I joined at 27 and got out of active duty at 31. If you don't want to join you can probably still get out of it if you haven't been sworn in yet.

Of course i want to be all i can be! But realize that sometimes its not all i want it to be...what mos in the Army were you sir?

3.8 is degree institution. LSAC has my GPA at 3.5. Which is still not too shabby except my long term goal is academia. And seriously, I have addendum after addendum to submit. Gaps in education, termination in employment, misdeameanor on my record. I really had a rough decade in my 20's and I didn't handle the challenges as well as I could have.

Is age really that big of a deal? I feel like the common factor of being in law school will override any differences in age. Even if they are severe. A lot of my friend's are in their 30s, and I'm barely in my 20s. Don't worry about it!
