Someone yesterday said they took the test on February 6, 2010 and received their score by email on Saturday, February 27th...exact same dates as ours. So I'd say that's the earliest it could be...Saturday...probably more likely we'll get them early next week though

Have you started them yet?
Any recommendations ?
Any specific reasons you chose the books that you did?

I hope you don't mind the questions Seb

Sure, I don't mind.

"Barbri 1L Review"
"Getting to Maybe"
"Planet Law School II"
"The Legal Analyst"

Have you started them yet? The first chapter of one
Any recommendations ? Getting to Maybe is a must.
Any specific reasons you chose the books that you did? Recommendations from 1L veterans.

I like how you said (academically) because my answer was going to be - "Yes, by partying it up as much as I can before that first year schedule"

But academically, no.

The thing i find the most interesting about interacting with people on message boards is that you begin to recognize people as their avatars.

Like op in this thread is a nerdy cat thing.

i half believe that robert deniro is waiting for his lsat along with an otter that's eating a cucumber or something.

You all see me as a frustrated cartoon.

I know y'all are people, but it's still a weird feeling.

And yes I may resemble Robert DeNiro in both name & appearance, but I am Ronny Diniro. I am my own man.

I've been out of school for 15 years so I'm very nervous. I was going to pick up some books to see what I can do to prepare and just to help adjust to that first year better. I might just randomly start reading some cases just to get used to the language.

I'm happy to recommend a book to everyone that I have told people who asked about pre law school summer reading that I have yet to hear anyone do anything but rave about. For the record it has nothing to do with law school, but how the brain processes information and how to have it do so optimally. Actually, I'll just freaking recommend it after all that blather.
