Is anyone nervous about using all of the latest PTs to prep, then realizing you have to retake in June, and no longer have any fresh modern PTs to use? Or am I just being paranoid? Lol

I took all recent PTs (52 - 73) twice. It's not going to hurt you. Just study, and don't worry about running out of materials.penncon wrote:Is anyone nervous about using all of the latest PTs to prep, then realizing you have to retake in June, and no longer have any fresh modern PTs to use? I'm planning to set aside some fresh ones in case of retake. Other than that, I plan to use older PT to drill by section since I usually forget almost all the LR/LG/RC answers.penncon wrote:Is anyone nervous about using all of the latest PTs to prep, then realizing you have to retake in June, and no longer have any fresh modern PTs to use? If you have to retake and you need fresh sections to gauge your progress, just save a few tests in the 40s.
You're definitely going to want to be as familiar as possible with the most recent tests before your first take.

Experiencing a nlee fail right now. Got to my parents' place, dropped off my stuff then went to go shopping in their new car. I come back and realize no one is home and that I forgot my regular keys inside.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
Has anyone from this study group reached the point where they can finish any game section with time to spare and go -0? I feel like a take a minute more (or even two) than many of the recommended times that JY suggests (except the really easy one which take 5-6 minutes, which I can do in that time). Wondering If I should use cambridge packets (which I didnt buy for the games) instead of just doing sections...

Holllyyy shhiiiee...
I was thinking like maybe 5 minutes to spare. Seriously though, awesome job. I have all the PT's, I was just wondering If it would be better if I drilled by category.
Edit - so you absolutely destroy the suggested times by JY then, right? I never did out the math but I'm guessing the times he suggest would allow you to finish with maybe 5 or so minutes?

I need them LG gains. I have been working on In/Out Games with subcategories today and def need to work on my inferences up front.peppermint wrote:Ikr, Mist, give me your LG brain, plz! 10-15 mins is crazy, I'm so envious!ColumbiaBigLaw wrote:mist4bison wrote:Yeah, I usually go -0 and have ~10-15 minutes to spare at the end. I've been going -0 but I'm answering q's down to the last second. This week I've been hammering LG pretty hard to increase my speed and it's working. Def drill by category b/c when you do like 10 games of the same type in a row, your brain starts making connections btwn all sorts of things & you start noticing little tricks that you previously missed.
So yep, def drilling by category helps a ton.

That is still awesome. At the end of the day -0 is a -0. GL on getting to that point where you have spare time to take a breather. I know that I coulve def used one after my games section in December.peppermint wrote:Ikr, Mist, give me your LG brain, plz! 10-15 mins is crazy, I'm so envious!ColumbiaBigLaw wrote:mist4bison wrote:Yeah, I usually go -0 and have ~10-15 minutes to spare at the end. Well, I thinks that all the evidence I need - I'll buy the packets.
