Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I used to want to run for office but now I've pretty much decided on women's rights work either representing sexual assault survivors and domestic abuse victims, or ideally working for an advocacy group such as NARAL, NOW, National Women's law center, etc.whacka wrote:I'm interested in appellate litigation and would one day like to be a federal judge, but that's a big dream. I have an academic interest in Constitutional law, and I'd like to do something with that wherever I end up. Obviously you can't center on ConLaw unless you're a professor or SCOTUS, so I think appellate lit would allow me to get a little bit of Constitutional intrigue in while I do other work. From what I hear, appellate work is really tough to break into and requires a good clerkship, though, so if that doesn't work out I'd like to look at working at a nonprofit that centers on civil/political rights like the ACLUSeamus887 wrote:I'm curious about the demographics of our little waiters thread here. Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Perusing the LSAC website it appears that they are closed on July 3rd for independence day, so powerscore's prediction that scores will come out that day is probably off. If we are the first group in the past 10 years to have to wait till after July 4th for our scores I think I will cry.

So much hope for the 29th but I'm pretty torn because while 21 days is the average, coming out a full 8 days before the scheduled day is basically unheard of.Seamus887 wrote:June 29th!!!jumbo2016 wrote:Perusing the LSAC website it appears that they are closed on July 3rd for independence day, so powerscore's prediction that scores will come out that day is probably off. 21 days seems common yes?

+1 for Bernie.
As for alcohol, I think rum is my favorite for mixed drinks, but bourbon is good all the time.

Speaking of Vermont things, UVM law school is among the most aggressive CAS users to target ppl before they even have an LSAT score on file

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I had a series of recurring nightmares where I kept opening my email to find my LSAT score and each time it was lower than the last. Finally forced myself out of bed somewhere in the 140s.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
