Just realized that I gotta change my avatar since Mitt ain't gonna run again. Think I'll replace it with Ben Carson.

Can't tell if you're actually a Ben Carson supporter or trying to be funny.179orBust wrote:Or maybe Monica Lewinsky.Dirigo wrote:Or HRC.179orBust wrote:Just realized that I gotta change my avatar since Mitt ain't gonna run again. Think I'll replace it with Ben Carson.

Nah, not trying to be funny. Really love Ben Carson. I think he'll end up running but he doesn't have a shot.Dirigo wrote:Can't tell if you're actually a Ben Carson supporter or trying to be funny.179orBust wrote:Or maybe Monica Lewinsky.Dirigo wrote:Or HRC.179orBust wrote:Just realized that I gotta change my avatar since Mitt ain't gonna run again. You never know. Iowans may eat up that he compared gay marriage to pedophilia and beastiality.179orBust wrote: Nah, not trying to be funny. Really love Ben Carson. I think he'll end up running but he doesn't have a shot.

Anyone find NA questions easier than SA questions? Getting very comfortable with NA questions and I didn't feel that way with the SA questions.

Most people do find NA easier because it's less reliant on formal logic than SA questions.179orBust wrote:Anyone find NA questions easier than SA questions? Getting very comfortable with NA questions and I didn't feel that way with the SA questions.

Yeah, he's definitely said some crazy things, won't deny that. Also said that Obamacare was the worst thing since slavery.Dirigo wrote:You never know. This. Exactly why I find NA easier. I just remember reading here that most ppl consider SA questions easier because you can predict the answer. JY said that these questions are freebies.Dirigo wrote:Most people do find NA easier because it's less reliant on formal logic than SA questions.179orBust wrote:Anyone find NA questions easier than SA questions? Also, the Manhattan LR chapter that covers conditional logic is towards the end of the book. Doesn't really make sense to me since SA questions rely heavily on formal logic. Maybe I should read that chapter one of these days.

I definitely do think SA answers are easier to predict because there is only one gap in the argument that needs to be filled. If you see the gap, then it will be easy to pick the answer choice so long as you don't get confused by the conditional phrasing.179orBust wrote:This. Exactly why I find NA easier. I'm pretty good about keeping an open mind when it comes to the many assumptions that are needed, so NA doesn't bother me.

What do you consider hardest LR type?Dirigo wrote:I definitely do think SA answers are easier to predict because there is only one gap in the argument that needs to be filled. The parallel ones just because they're such a huge time-sink for me.179orBust wrote: What do you consider hardest LR type?

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Sorry that I am late in replying about the whole choice of Uni and why anyone would still aim for YSH (inspite of the $25000). My reason being that i am not rich so i guess i can get some need based aid. Also, the thought of not getting a good job post- law school scares the daylights out of me. If i have to go to a law school then it will be either YS (maybe a full ride at Columbia or NYU) or a career change.
Therefore its a 180-175 or death kind of a situation.

Hi guys, checking in here
Bailed on th Feb LSAT at the last minute so hopped on the June boat. Currently PT around 168-169 and biggest weakness is RC (-6 consistant). Diagnostic was 155, goal is 173+
stuff i can share from the past 2 months of studying is that LR will more or less solve itsself by taking many PTs and reviewing, LG and RC require more work, probsbly also cause they occur half as frequently. Also, taking 5 or even 6 section PTs is definately worth the inital struggle, I have made so many stupid mistakes on final sections due to fatigue, and there is nothing worse than knowing you let those few points slip so easily.
And it has been stressed by many top scorers here but reviewing your mistakes thoroughly really is key, I plateued around 165 'till I reviewed religously, then scores jumped after a few days of reviewing every mistake.
Look foreward to killing the June LSAT with you all.

I'm going to try to take the 3 superprep PTs this week or weekend, but if I do poorly I'll probably pretend that I didn't.The Abyss wrote:Anybody else PTing this weekend? I'm thinking a retake of PT 40.

Superprep B for me today. First PT since my diagnostic 3 weeks ago. Just completed the trainer and some drills so far, so we will see what the bump is.NonTradLawHopeful wrote:PT 53 for me this Saturday. The Abyss wrote:Anybody else PTing this weekend? I'm thinking a retake of PT 40.
