I think the cutoff for Penn waivers before was a 167 or 168.

I just got one too. Chances are it's just a coincidence, but I'd rather tell myself they know something about my score that I don't.mwells56 wrote:Mine's a 3.74 but my highest LSAT so far is a 166. Do you need CAS, transcript, etc to get fee waivers?

Depends. Northwestern has you ask for one, but everybody gets one. Berkeley has an app, but they go to service and peace corps alums only. USC gives everybody a free app before Nov. something. UVA, Penn, Duke, Michigan, NYU, Georgetown, and Cornell I think(?) gave unsolicited waivers. As did WashU, Vandy, UCLA, and Texas.das_Gesetz wrote:

I've solicited a waiver from a school that doesn't send them, but I heard that's not usually the way to go.

I have a friend with a 178 who JUST uploaded her transcripts. Prior to that, she hadn't received a single waiver. Now she's rolling in them.tinyrickkk wrote:heyduchess wrote:From most schools, yes.tinyrickkk wrote:

Good to know! Not that that's going to happen to me. I'm 3.4/172 (2 misbubbles away from 174 ugh). Hopefully September puts me in fee waiver/T-10 range.heyduchess wrote:I have a friend with a 178 who JUST uploaded her transcripts. Prior to that, she hadn't received a single waiver. Pretty sure 170 was the cutoff for most of those schools. I have a lower score and GPA than you and I got all but three of those...tinyrickkk wrote:Good to know! If that's the case, then I think (hope) once I pay for CAS/upload my transcript, I'll start getting fee waivers. TINY RICKKK!heyduchess wrote:Pretty sure 170 was the cutoff for most of those schools.
