It'll be at or close to sticker though.
I get that some people just aren't that good at the LSAT / get test anxiety / etc, but if you can get of a 4.0+ GPA, you're definitely capable of 170+ (or at least a hell of a lot higher than that).

Yeah I'd take any law school in the T13 at a full ride over even Yale. My undergraduate degree is basically all financed as well. Paying back loans BLOWS.

If I worked in admissions I'd be super hesitant about reverse splitters. Regular splitters, however, come one come all.

Alex is "living" vicariously through his numbers twins.
I'm almost debating getting a hotel. Exhausted. No want to drive home, but I can't leave now anyways bc I'll just be in traffic for 1,000 years.

Lol the two admits were "top 5" and "top 3" UG. I still have zero chance.
Just shoot for 180 and take until you get 175+ if you have the time/energy. Not much of a difference in outcomes between 175 and 180.

I don't understand UG prestige. It's UG for god's sake.

Not to open this can of worms, but Yale is usually quite generous and New Haven has a much lower CoL than NYC, so I do think there are situations where taking Yale over a full-ride makes sense. $300k in debt is bad idea for any school though.
I feel like a lot of people (especially "top 3 UG" people" *cough*) have significant family support which can change the calculation a bit.

I wish daddy could write me a check for 300k and not blink.

Seriously. My only hope is that my parents will appreciate that I stayed home for uni and cost them nothing, and will be willing to help with COL wherever I go.

Ugh yeah I hope so too. Gonna cross that bridge when I come to it though. Gonna try to get an RA position and keep costs low wherever I go, but even a bit of $$ would help.

Yup, it'd be nice. That's still a ways off though. I'm hoping I can accumulate enough savings that money won't necessarily have to determine my path. That's all one could ask for really.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
