You're thinking about working for an environmental conservation charity and hate hippies. Nice

I received my DECEMBER 2012 score at 5:12 central, so don't give up hope yet.

Re: Feb Waiters: LSAC.org ragequit [New Poll]
About 45 min north of SF. My bf used to live there. It's actually one of the better small towns (pop. around 50k) I've been to and has a decent number of good restaurants and a couple of bars to go out to. It also has great weather and laid back people. That being said, it's not SF and not really close enough to easily go back and forth for going out, etc and the only public transportation that goes up there is an hourly bus during the day.kmc wrote:It's nice. tdlr; If you don't mind a small town feel, Petaluma is as good as it gets. If you're looking for a bigger city feel, you'll regret not living in SF or closer to it.

@Andy, would a daily commute from SF to Petaluma be unreasonable?

There are definitely hippies and a bunch of yuppie families. But, as always, whether or not you have to interact with those people depends on your skill at finding not lame people. It's about an hour north of SF. I think it's Sonoma Co, but it's juuuust north of as many stereotypes about Marin Co as you want to go with - most of my sister's über hippie friends live 15 minutes south of Petaluma in Novato.TheThriller wrote:Id be working for a charity that does environmental conservation.kmc wrote:It's nice. What kind of scene is it? I love the outdoors but hate hippies

how would an off-topic conversation make you more anxious then an on-topic conversation?Tammyb wrote:TheThriller wrote:hipsters as wellTERS wrote:You're thinking about working for an environmental conservation charity and hate hippies. Nice![]()

Is that an official update of some kind or your own conjecture?jtype01 wrote:Scores will be released tomorrow at ~4-5pm EST.

This is the same person that claimed they got their score earlier, so I'm assuming it's a guess.Pararrhexis wrote:jtype01 wrote:Scores will be released tomorrow at ~4-5pm EST.

Re: Feb Waiters: LSAC.org ragequit [New Poll]
It wouldn't be totally unreasonable since you'd be doing a reverse commute against traffic, but I'd only recommend it if you lived in a neighborhood relatively near the Golden Gate Bridge, such as Pac Heights, Marina, Presidio, Richmond, etc. You'd be adding like 20-25 min each way if you lived deeper in the city because of morning/afternoon congestion. Someone else in this thread thought it'd be an hour drive, but my bf was usually able to do it closer to 45 min unless there was bad traffic.TheThriller wrote:hipsters as wellTERS wrote:You're thinking about working for an environmental conservation charity and hate hippies. Also not that it should be dealbreaker or anything, but FYI you'll have to pay 5 bucks every day for the bridge toll on top of gas.
