Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I took the LSAT yesterday and my gut is telling me that I didn't do too hot, so I might as well get comfortable in this thread.
I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to cancel it but I wanted to ask a simple question: is cancelling your score better than getting a lower-than-expected score?

TTT = third tier trash, basically bad law schools. You now sometimes see people ignoring that it's an abbreviation and changing the number of T's to indicate varying degrees of shittiness, for example I've seen T2 referred to as TT and T4 as TTTT.campaignraiser wrote:Alright, I know this is going to be a stupid question, but can someone put together a comprehensive guide for those of us who don't frequent forums very often with a list of what the hell these acronyms mean? PW? TTT? ITT? etc etc. I ballparked ITT to be in the thread?
TCR = the credited response, which obviously comes from LSAT discussions. TITCR = this is the credited response.
Many of the other abbreviations are general Internet slang, so you can just google them to find their meanings.
I honestly have no idea what PW means though and 5 seconds of googling didn't reveal the answer.

Thanks everyone. I know general internet slang, but I couldn't find those three. Rigo the thread helped. And I appreciate everyone else's responses too.Dirigo wrote:QFNP (Quoting for new page)Dirigo wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =2&t=18478campaignraiser wrote:Alright, I know this is going to be a stupid question, but can someone put together a comprehensive guide for those of us who don't frequent forums very often with a list of what the hell these acronyms mean? Depends on how low. Unless you're positive you completely f'd up, I wouldn't cancel.Buckeye Gus wrote: I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to cancel it but I wanted to ask a simple question: is cancelling your score better than getting a lower-than-expected score?
Schools will only care about your highest score.

Knocking off some classwork this weekend to free up more time for prep this week. BTW, it's rewarding to make a key inference in a game right away as a result of learning a prior game. Made yesterday afternoon worth it.

There's nothing I hate more than taking a long time or getting questions wrong and then JY immediately says "this is one of the easiest games on any lsat"

Did you not set it up correctly?campaignraiser wrote:There's nothing I hate more than taking a long time or getting questions wrong and then JY immediately says "this is one of the easiest games on any lsat"
90% of the game is a proper initial setup.

My setups can be cleaner, but it's usually me rushing through a question by not doing an additional side diagram/the main game board being messy or missing an inference and taking a long time to get to the answer of a question. I'm missing 1 or 2 on about half of my drill games (regardless of the difficulty level). It's frustrating as hell.Dirigo wrote:Did you not set it up correctly?campaignraiser wrote:There's nothing I hate more than taking a long time or getting questions wrong and then JY immediately says "this is one of the easiest games on any lsat"

Do them untimed for a little bit. And definitely make sure you do side game boards. Don't try keeping it all in your head.campaignraiser wrote:My setups can be cleaner, but it's usually me rushing through a question by not doing an additional side diagram/the main game board being messy or missing an inference and taking a long time to get to the answer of a question. Is Michigan really that bad? I know they've been slipping for quite awhile but I thought they were still in a peer group with UVA and Penn.Dirigo wrote:And your pro-Michigan trolling.

If I wanted to get creative, I would have grouped Penn with CCN lol. Look at those beautiful employment stats: http://www.lstscorereports.com/national/

It's more so that you put M ahead of Berkeley.RZ5646 wrote:Is Michigan really that bad? I know they've been slipping for quite awhile but I thought they were still in a peer group with UVA and Penn.Dirigo wrote:And your pro-Michigan trolling.

Normally it's PVBM. A lot of people have problems with Michigan, not that that should be reflected in your poll or anything.

Food for thought for those of you who picked HYS:
