I imagine it 10000000% depends on your Undergrad school, too. A splitter from Princeton is much more acceptable than a splitter from Alabama. (I went to a top tier school that's notorious for grade deflation and my classmate got into UVA within a month of applying. I think she got her acceptance email 12 hours after her interview. GPA below 25th. LSAT above 75th.)

Did we go to the same school / know the same people? I know this to be familiar with a couple people. But generally, I noticed where I went to school that being over one median gave you leeway on the other, even for non-URMs, for top tier law schools.

As for apps, I'm hoping mid-late September if I don't need to take the September test. If I do, then I'll submit immediately after scores come in early October.

Ehh, I think your application also matters a ton (at least in T14) outside of numbers. I got in everywhere except HYS with a 168 last year.

Are you potentially a bit of an outlier? Can't remember what your GPA was, but would think that you being STEM has a positive impact

Is anyone still low-key studying in case of a September retake? I'm trying to decide what the best plan is for the next 3 weeks (clearly "do nothing and wait" isn't going well for me).

Do nothing and wait is my strategy. If anything it's a much-needed break from LSAT stuff. Plus if I don't have to retake I don't want to waste my time studying.

I was surprised to see that Stanford's 75th percentile is 173. Maybe they tried to balance the LSAT and the GPA range; maybe they really consider everything besides the hard numbers. Otherwise, I doubt they can't pull the LSAT range up to at H's and Y's ranges.

There's also a really limited number of 174+ students, less than 1,000 per year, so getting that 75th up is pretty tough.

Mediocre at best. Went to a wedding where I was a +1 and a DD so that wasn't ideal. Hung out with my dad yesterday, which was pretty cool.

Dude, same. I stupidly have already done all of PTs 72-80... Also, I've pretty much done every single games section ever released... really hoping that doesn't screw me if I end up studying for a retake.

As early as possible. I've had my LOR's locked for about 4 months. Hope to have app stuff done by the end of early August and then go from there.

People who are reapplying, what are you doing for your apps? Debating about how much to change my PS. On one hand I think it's decent but maybe I should just spit out a new one.


I think my biggest takeaway from last cycle is that supplements and why xs matter. I'll probably start with those since I can decide why I want to go to a specific school before I decide if I want to remake my ps
