It depends on how poor you are, not on your stats.
HYS aid is need-based, not merit-based like all the other schools.

Many HYS gunners in the poll. Do you guys realize that's $250,000?

Have unicorn goals. I've already decided law school doesn't make sense for me unless its HYS/CCN with a heavy scholly. Also financial aid should soften the blow a bit.

You'd be surprised (I know I was) just how many people have wealthy parents footing the bill.

Personally, I'd take Y over a Ruby/Hamilton, no question. S, maybeee, but would be a tough decision. H, would go for CC.

ETA: And thats with all loans. Don't have rich parents.

TITCR. We need to remember that in shooting for the T14, and the T6 especially, we're competing against the children of the American elite. If I do end up at Columbia or someplace, I'm sure I will experience a huge culture shock.

$250,000
Knowing this price tag, and that these schools only give out need based aid, are the qualifications for need based aid expanded compared to other schools? Could folks from the middle class conceivably qualify for need based aid at these schools given the huge cost?

Yeah The Trainer is def worth it for LR. It goes well with Manhattan LR too.

periwinkle3000 wrote:I sat for the test yesterday, but I'm definitely canceling my score. Completely goofed on LG. I tested cold in the 140s and with a month of prep I was PTing in the low-to-mid 160s.

Hoping with four months of prep I can possibly break 170. RC is down solid, so I really just need to focus on LG and LR. I was thinking of just getting the LG bible and Manhattan LR book - but I was wondering if anyone thinks it would be helpful to pick up the LSAT trainer as well? I'm really shaky on LR.
Did you make your username after taking the test?

Alright, I know this is going to be a stupid question, but can someone put together a comprehensive guide for those of us who don't frequent forums very often with a list of what the hell these acronyms mean? PW? TTT? ITT? etc etc. I ballparked ITT to be in the thread?
