Some people like me are splitters everywhere. Below the 25th gpa for just about every law school in the country, and (hopefully) above the 75th lsat for just about every school in the country.

A reverse splitter is the least desirable and least valuable applicant type.Slippin' Jimmy wrote:I think whether one is a splitter or not can change from school to school. I was on and off debating it, even though I know that I probably couldn't bring myself to cancel my score. Glad the option is gone and I don't have to think about it anymore.

I imagine it 10000000% depends on your Undergrad school, too. A splitter from Princeton is much more acceptable than a splitter from Alabama. (I went to a top tier school that's notorious for grade deflation and my classmate got into UVA within a month of applying. I think she got her acceptance email 12 hours after her interview. GPA below 25th. LSAT above 75th.)Tape Dog wrote:A reverse splitter is the least desirable and least valuable applicant type.Slippin' Jimmy wrote:I think whether one is a splitter or not can change from school to school. Is anyone still low-key studying in case of a September retake? I'm trying to decide what the best plan is for the next 3 weeks (clearly "do nothing and wait" isn't going well for me).

As soon as I get my score I'm starting my personal statement and all other essays (got a couple of addenda to right, unfortunately). Already locked down my rec letters. Want to have everything done before I go back to school in August so I can submit day one for everything.Walliums wrote:So when is everyone planning on sending in apps?

Generally, I noticed where I went to school that being over one median gave you leeway on the other, even for non-URMs, for top tier law schools.heyduchess wrote:I imagine it 10000000% depends on your Undergrad school, too. As for apps, I'm hoping mid-late September if I don't need to take the September test. If I do, then I'll submit immediately after scores come in early October.
