Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Actually taking a break today. I have way too much homework. I've been alternating LR and LG every other day. Kind of feel guilty that I am taking a break, though. Anyone ever feel this guilt?

I woke up kinda sick so I'm also very happy I didn't take it today. And my brain doesn't want to do anything eitherpeppermint wrote:So glad I decided not to take the LSAT today. I finally got home around 2 am b/c of delays & I'm so jetlagged right now. Just tried to do a few LG, my brain isn't cooperating at all.

Okay updated the OP with Dirigo's book list and also added a poll where you can say what you're trying to accomplish by studying hard for the LSAT.

Thanks! Yes, that is probably the reason I don't want to study hahapeppermint wrote:Being sick is the worst, hope you feel better soon! I think our brains are just too excited to shitpoast w/ the Febbers instead of study, haha

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
So i'm not sure how I did today on the LSAT so there's a chance I may have to retake it in June.
Hoping that is not the case but two of the sections were way more difficult than I originally expected them to be. It was also my first time taking the LSAT. Anyways I was wondering what you guys think.. Should I begin prepping for the June LSAT in case I did end up doing bad on the one I just took? Or should I wait for my score to be emailed to me? Don't know what to do but I would appreciate your suggestions.

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Depends what score range you were getting on PTs prior to today's exam, and what your target score is.
If you were testing at your target score range or above, I'd probably not study unless you really felt you bombed a part of the exam. Maybe slight studying, just to keep up on things -- say, drilling a bit every 2-3 days.
If you weren't quite scoring at your target score, and you felt you bombed a section or portion of a section on today's exam, I'd probably take a 5-7 days off, and then start back up.
eta: but that's just my view. I think someone who's retaken before would be in a better position to answer.

I've been following the Feb. waiters thread and the general consensus is that the test was very easy. Does that mean it's likely we'll be getting one of the more difficult tests? I know, stupid question, but I tend to worry about these things.

Nope, it doesn't mean anything. And difficulty of individual tests is irrelevant because of the curve179orBust wrote:I've been following the Feb. waiters thread and the general consensus is that the test was very easy. Can someone confirm that the curve for any particular administration is set ahead of time based on the experimental section performance of past test takers? I think I read that once.

I've read that multiple times, and it makes sense. If it wasn't don't that way, your score for a particular LSAT would only be comparable to whoever sat that same test.RZ5646 wrote:Can someone confirm that the curve for any particular administration is set ahead of time based on the experimental section performance of past test takers? Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Nah. I was actually on the border between CCN w/ $$ and MVP w/ $$ and chose the latter (switched my vote actually) because it seems more realistic. I'm very debt averse, and I feel like if I get into HYS I'll probably have massive scholarships at other great schools, and then I couldn't rationalize taking on 300k of inescapable debt just to fulfill a childhood (and childish) fantasy of going to Hahvahd (or YS).gamerish wrote:Ah cool. Are you the other HYS striver?
Also some time ago I got this idea into my head that I'd really like to go to Penn for free, and that's become my target. Not exactly sure why, except maybe because I considered transferring there once.
ETA: That being said, I still want to meet HYS's 75th for the LSAT. Already have the GPA in the bag.

I voted CCN w/ $$ but a Penn fully works too.
I'm really hoping I get H and a relative reveals that they're a secret millionaire and paying my tuition though.
