I say -12 to -14 for curve. Tough logic games tends to do that.

Re: February 2014 Waiters
There is, though, the likelihood that there is a committee which has to review the data to make sure they mesh up with the curve. Undoubtedly, there are questions which tested fine in experimental sections but which ended up being VERY poor questions when in an actual administration (I'm thinking about the eliminated questions that at times occur). While I agree it could be done way faster, I'm sure there's more to it than just the scantrons!
Maybe even a good reason -- though I'm hesitant to go that far.

Re: February 2014 Waiters
I think it's a combination of analysis (comparing results with experimental results) and the fact that the people working at lsac probably couldn't care less how anxious test takers are. They have 4 major events every year, and they give themselves a reasonable amount of time to get the job done. That is, reasonable from the perspective of a giant who doesn't care about the ants waiting for the crumbs to fall from the cookie he's baking very carefully.

No no, don't apologize for CB obsession. We NYer's have to travel far away to the land of Jersey for the nearest Cracker Barrel. It is obviously well worth it, though for some absurd reason most of my friends and family think I'm crazy for driving so far. I laugh at their ignorance. They know not biscuits and gravy.

I used to drive down to C'ville VA a couple times each year, I measured the miles in CB units. I also enjoy moseying onto the porch and sitting in an authentic Cracker Barrel brand rocking chair with some horehound candy while I wait for a table. Also, fried okra. Fried. Okra. That is all.thevuch wrote:PattyCake wrote:No no, don't apologize for CB obsession. We NYer's have to travel far away to the land of Jersey for the nearest Cracker Barrel. I have, and I thought they were only ok, BUT I hate tomato to begin with (imagine the only 5 year old kid you ever met who didn't like pizza) and my companion ordered a second plate after eating the one we were sharing.thevuch wrote:PattyCake wrote:I used to drive down to C'ville VA a couple times each year, I measured the miles in CB units. Re: February 2014 Waiters
Three things:
1. Ukraine. I know. I'm so frustrated and saddened
I hate that Putin is using this as an excuse to push the military's chest out.
2. I just found out that Al Jazeera cut off Al Jazeera English to the states! AAAAAAAHH!! I'm so pissed. Al Jazeera America is comparatively horrible. I'm sickened that our stupid, awful media is now that much more stupid, and that I can't even access real news (or anyone who used to watch AJE) without having to pay for a VPN subscription service.
3. At The Cracker Barrel, I usually order The Country Boy Breakfast (I mean it's Cracker Barrel. It's a sometimes food; I go all friggin' in). In reality though, I'm basically only there for the fireplace, the peg game, and BISCUITS WITH APPLE BUTTER.
