If you haven't already, check 7sage for snakes and lizards. Really good explanation.

I took my first timed LR section today (29-Section 1). I felt good afterwards, but definitely rushed (buzzer-beater). I know I need to start reading faster and marking incorrect answer choices quicker, but the time will come with more practice. I think I am going to wait on joining in the preptest schedule until I take a few more timed sections for each section-type, review, and gather information before taking a fully timed preptest. I am not too far away from that process though! Keep on grinding.

I have been drilling LR like shit..... Haven't started timed LR yet. I am planing to finish MLRB in mid-Feb then maybe go back to LRB for some references. Then schedule timed LG&LR from mid-Feb to end of Feb. If I feel confident on timed PT I'll follow the schedule. If not, I may drill more.

Have you taken 1-2 weeks to drill questions by type? It lays the fundamentals.

You mean all 13 or so LR question types? Isn't that like a full package a day?

What is everyone doing for studying today? I just did Round 2 of Relative Ordering drills here at work, and later tonight I'm taking PT40. I might try printing off more LGs sneakily at work, bc I'm not doing much else.

Do you recommend doing these drills before tackling any of the PTs?

Started off with a timed section of LR. Now reviewing. Plan is to do some more LR drills/review/reading tonight. I will be heavily focusing on LR this month.

Although I'm pretty sure the plan is to go over PT 40 tomorrow evening, since I just finished reviewing it, I'd be down to review it tonight if anyone wants to join.

so, for June: if you could pick only 1 of the 3, would you have an exceptionally easy games, LR (1 of the 2), or RC section?

RC. And it's not even close.

That's the gold standard (NoodleyOne's method). I'm doing Cambridge Vol. 1 (after each respective MLSAT LR chapter) before I take any PTs. To drill weaknesses I encounter in PTs, I will use Cambridge Vol. 2.

For what it's worth, I'm a retaker and I did not do this the first time. I can already tell the difference.

In and subbed.

Doing my 5th day of PithyPike's plan, just drilling Basic Linear Balanced and finishing up a reading on Strengthen/Justify/Assumption in the LR bible. Also doing some RC drills (-8 on my first section i tried... dammit).

Cold tested a 157, timed and all.

Hoping to get somewhere like 170-175 when it is all said and done!

+1, RC drives me insane sometimes. I've gone -2, -1, -1, -6, -4 over my last five PTs, and being able to blow through one would give me a huge bump.

Good work with the low errors, which PTs did you go -6 and -4?

I maybe down for this. Just cleared up some time, so hopefully I can finish reviewing solo now, and we can discuss later.

Finish reviewing PT40, drill LG's maybe 3 hours or so. Need to get a handle on these.

Some Parallel Flaw questions from Cambridge, I gotta get my rhythm for these questions up to par, and some of the difficult LR problems from Cambridge's section labeled "Difficult Questions."

Hey everyone,

I don't pretend to be an expert of any sort, but thought I would throw this out there since I have some time on my hands:

If anyone wants help of any sort (advice / support) feel free to PM me with q's or concerns. I took the June 2012 LSAT after studying for 4 months daily and was really into it at the time (see profile for more info).

Again, I don't want to pretend I am an expert, but feel I have a lot of information stored away that could potentially help.

Take care and good luck! Remember to eat well, sleep, and exercise!

Just curious, for those that took PT 40 already, did anyone else have trouble with the Zephyr Airlines game? I got 4/6 wrong. I actually wasted a lot of time there too. Spent about 4 min before I realized I should skip it and come back if time allowed.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
