I have the most problems with logical reasoning, and I literally don't know what to do to improve :( Time is running so low for October and I'm currently getting -10 :( Any suggestions?

Oh and my biggest issue is time, if I did each section untimed I score around -3, but when it's timed my mind just wanders and I have to read each question multiple times...
I get the 5 hour energy drinks I try to everything to stay focused, I just don't knwo what to do. Maybe I need ADD medication...
I agree entirely. They need to allow for more PTs. I think the class significantly underestimates the importance of stamina.
I think I'm just going to buy some more old tests since I haven't done a whole lot of the homeworks..IS there another place to buy tests from other than the LSAC website? I can't wait for shipping, I have 5 days before classes start and I need to as much practice as I can.....

Is there anything more satisfying than -0ing a section?

The answer is of course, but shit is it satisfying.

I'm 10x more flabbergasted when it is in lr than in anything else. It always feels like luck.

Improvement is possible guys.

Cold diag - 146 (I forgot the PT, since it was in April)

8/5/10 - SuperPrep A - 163
8/12/10 - PT 40 - 163
8/14 - SuperPrep B - 171
8/12-8/19 - PT 22 (pieced together from individual sections) - 178
8/18 - PT 34 - 175

Improvement is possible, and 30 point gains are too. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Damn, how did you make such a big leap in a couple days? If I can fix timing, I will have a pretty big leap.

That's pretty incredible. If you can sustain those scores you'll be a perfect counterexample to the posters on here who say "lol whut you cant improve 20 poits duh."

You can buy them from Cambridge LSAT. It's an instant download; you just have to print them off.

LOL, love this.

I absolutely HATED Superprep. I got 163 all THREE times and grrrr. I was praying that the SPs were just harder. I took PT 29 yesterday and got a 169, so hopefully, it's not a 'lucky' score and it's a sign of things to come! My next test is on Saturday. PT 30!

I've gotten my best scores so far on superprep and everyone told me they are easier than the recent ones :(

So, I did the Zephyr Airlines game last night (PT40) and wth? I only missed one, but I have NO idea what is going on with that game--at least in the 12 minutes I had remaining to do it... I'm going to go over it today. Thank you Matt Riley/Blueprint...

So what do you do when you encounter a crazy game? Mulch in June sent me into panic mode. I am trying to avoid that this time around.

I collect -0's. So far, 2 in LG, 2 in RC, and 1 in LR. I need another LR to even that out.

The only trouble is, once I've scored perfect twice in something I'm like WTF! NO! NOT MINUS 2!!!!

Well don't get sad, everything is a matter of opinion. :)
I can't say recent tests are harder because in my 2010 studying, I've only done older tests. So doing SP's and PT 29, I would say PT 29 was MUCH easier. I really hope that this is true, at least for me.

Amazon. I'm taking TM and doing only PTs instead of homework. I bought the books with PTs 19-28 & 29 - 38.

Same here ... Only 1 in RC so far, but a few in LG and LR, so anything but perfects in those is disappointing.

to everyone bragging about -0... grrrr :x
congratulations though to everyone kicking ass on PT's

did PT 30 last night
Raw 86/ scaled 169
-3 LG
-3 LR
-6 RC
-3 LR
In a futile defense, my 90 y.o. great aunt kept coming in during RC and asking me if i was sure i didn't want to eat, and if i would let her dogs out/back in..so it threw me off a bit. but honestly, i just spaced part way through. the break down was -1, -2, -2, -1 on the 4 sections so that kinda sucks.

question: has anyone tried to use the atlas timer? i couldn't get it to work

I have 5 -0's in LG, 1 in RC and 3 in LR. On my most recent PT I had a -0 on my experimental LG, -0 on my actual LG, -0 on one of the LR sections, aaaaaand of course I blew my score with -5 in RC.

if you have an iPhone, you can use PadawanLaw's LSAT Cacophony iPhone app: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lsat-proctor/id377371487

his personal website has an mp3 and streaming version you can use online, but the website is down at the moment (probably overused bandwidth due to the popularity of the mp3 timer).

however, if you try it again in a day or so, he may have it back up. the link is http://padawanlaw.com/?p=57, so I'd recommend bookmarking it and trying later.

I just gave up halfway through a PT. My brain just wasn't working. Ever have those days with a PT? I'm terrified of having that on the real thing :O.

Just got my first 169 ever. Yay. Amazing to go from a -9 RC and -12+ combined LR to a -2 and -5 within a week.

this happened to me earlier this week. It was kind of like I was taking the test in a foreign language.

Exactly ohmygod. In RC, I just didn't even have the wherewithal to look back at the passage.

It's prompted me to be a bit more focused on how I use my remaining full PTs, and that I should maybe be doing more section work with PTs sprinkled in than mainly PTs. I'm going to try to mimic test conditions more closely (to get the adrenaline up) and try to eat properly before/and on the break because low blood sugar destroys my test taking abilities. I started at 11.30, gave up at 1, and I'd had 2 bananas + a couple bites of oatmeal + bused downtown to walk dogs at the spca and bused back lol, not sufficient!

And congrats on that huge jump! What kind of studying did you do, or did it just sort of click?

It happens. I've done that before. Next time you have that feeling, I recommend you finish the test. If you can maintain your composure through that, it might be worth whatever crappy score you might get on that particular PT.

Yeah, I considered that, but I was so just not into it/not happy that I decided I should quit early in order to have a bit of a break between PT/walking my dog/going to the dentist/working lol because, while I don't mind walking my dog, the other stuff is not the most fun I've ever had soooo I was being nice to myself.

I'm gonna shape up from now on though, ohhh yes.
