Need advice. Im getting crushed at work. Like the next two weeks (excluding thanksgivig and the day after) will likely be 9-1am type days. And I just found out I'll be in Milwaukee on nov 27-28 for work and will like get 0 studying in while I'm there as well as little sleep. Do I cancel dec lsat and just hope my 169 will fly? I can't take off the 29th or 30th since I've already taken 1 vacation day for the LSAT...

You will still have a 3rd shot if it doesn't go well. So you shouldn't be too worried about taking it. Of course it all really just comes down to do you think you have a realistic chance of beating 169. If the answer is no then push to Feb. Don't think anyone can give you any more specific advice than that.

I think having a 2 month break and taking the test will actually be a good thing. I will do some (minor) prep about 2 weeks out. That is, taking a few PTs. Other than that, I don't really care. If I can't get a 163 or higher AND a scholly, I'm not going.

#1 choice is actually NU jd/MBA which doesn't require LSAT, but I want to have options in case I don't get into that program. Fuck it, I'll just take it unless I feel like shit the day of and cancel. Not ideal, but I think do-able. Thanksgiving will give me a few days off of work to get some hardcore studying in. And when I get that 170+ I'll write a guide called "Dont be a pussy: Hawk's guide to getting a 17X while working 90 hours a week"

This is my highest score ever! The LG was a re-do as I said, but I actually got -0 the first time I took it as well so I'm feeling really good :]

Yeah I think you should go for it. If you feel terrible the night before/morning of you can cancel it without it counting as one of your three tries. There's absolutely no point in canceling now, as canceling two weeks from now will have the exact same affect. Might as well wait to see how you feel.

Thanks! Granted, I took it at noon and it probably wouldn't have gone as well if I'd taken it early in the morning because my sleep schedule is still on the fritz. But I think I'm getting there.

That was June, October was high 150s, low 160s and a 152...I cried a lot that night. But I got a 166 the other day so if I stick to my pattern I should wind up with a 150.

Well I may've bombed the test but at least I'm attempting to do better instead of blowing the whole thing off, I can come up with a new LR and LG strategy in a month, RC not so much...and even with a 152 even I managed better than -11 on RC.
